Im just going to assume you already played the most popular 00's FPS games then if you are digging that deep. Red Faction, STALKER, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Jedi Knight 2, Postal 2, Painkiller, etc etc.

Well I am not really a huge slavjank fan, but I really enjoyed the Ubersoldier games.
It goes without saying but if you haven't played STALKER then you are really missing out, they are the greatest slavjank of all time.
I didn't really like XIII that much.

Have you played Project Snowblind? Its a pretty solid 5 hour long 00's campaign.

Another decent slavic painkiller clone is Necrovision. It's super buggy but its absolutely fun as fuck with really satisfying combat.

Playing Gladius. It's decent. Been on a WH40K kick since playing Space Marine 2 and DoW Remastered.
Never got into Hollow Knight, looks like something I'd play on Newgrounds for 5 minutes before moving on to Meet n Fuck.

Playing some expedition 33, got to act 3 but im not feeling it anymore. Played some stalker 2 and helldivers 2 but im only a few hours into both. Stalker 2 at least nailed the atmosphere of the first so far but then again it is the first zone where most devs put in all the effort, also not digging the bloodsucker and poltergeist right in the tutorial. This is my first real playthrough and am mostly going in blind. I know I've fucked up and made mistakes, and now I think I'm hitting an unpassable wall. Gonna reload a Day 6 or slightly earlier Day 7 save and try to scavenge extra health supplies to push through until I can get some shmowder. But I also heard you can walk through an arsonist's fire to get rid of the infection. So I might try that if I find one.

If I'm still struggling, I might have to bite the bullet and turn off "intended difficulty". I really want to finish this game by the weekend.

Advent Rising is great, but holy fuck I hate Chrome. I remember people used to call it a cult classic way back in the day and it was fucking shit from when I can remember.

Have you played Vivisector? It's level design almost makes me want to quit, but man the gore system kicks ass and it's a furry genocide simulator which is also pretty funny.

Also check out the Soldier of Fortune games if you can, 1 is a masterpiece but 2 is kind of trash but still pretty good.

I never finished the darkness 1 but I absolutely enjoyed the fuck out of just slowly looking at all the detail in the environments and just how perfectly they captured pre-gentrified NYC , it's genuinely one of the most immersive FPS experiences ever and also it came out in a time when real-time shadow tech was fucking amazing looking and some games actually had contrast before all this RTX faggot shit.

I've been really into Songs of Syx recently. Very satisfying city builder game with just the right amount of complexity IMO. I also like DF and stuff like that but SoS just feels really good to play, and your cities look cool after. When I was a little kid, around 7-8 years old, I couldn't stop thinking about death. I lost my appetite, I would lie awake late every night with tears in my eyes thinking about how I and everyone was going to die. I would feel nausea as I thought about how either death was the end and I was doomed, or there is some sort of afterlife and that too at the time to be a kind of terrifying thought. My parents are atheists but they offered to take me to church when I told them why I was so sad, but I declined. After a while I just decided to accept it, that whatever will happen will happen and it's outside my control. That acceptance made things go back to normal for me.

I started Lost Souls Aside recently and it actually is pretty good so far, not sure why it's getting so much hate. I got to the somewhat open-ish area that's right after where the demo ends and my opinion is that the combat is really fun. I'll need to finish the game first before I can really give a good final opinion on it though, things could get better or worse.

Well, mine doesn't exactly play much, but when she does, it's usually metroidvanias, Kirby or some indie title, with some Minecraft and Fortnite thrown in. She liked Hollow Knight enough, so Silksong seemed like a no-brainer.

Played three terrible video games in a row and it pushed me to the brink. I feel like quitting gaming all together. Last one was brave story, which wasn't terrible but a real pain to get through. Maybe I could have enjoyed it a bit better if I wasn't in such a bad mood.

Im moving on to something a bit easier. I might just stream a game in my handheld. I was thinking of maybe starting with Key classics like Air. There are so many versions though, I dont know where to start. Sex scene ain't important to me (im asexual) so I might just go with the PSP port.

Valkyria chronicles 2. It had no business being 30 hours long. You play the same map over thirty times. From front to back, then back to front. Different enemy placment but always the same five maps. Last boss was copy pasted from the first game. Best gril dies.

Lady Sia. Good for three levels, but man oh man, is the rest of the game terrible. I was drawn to its art style but the game didn't hold up especially with the bosses.
