Exploring and upgrading feels so pointless lads. I got two parts of a spool and it's just one tiny thread it gives you like seriously? That miniscule of an upgraded needed to be two parts?
And the four mask shards for an upgrade. This felt way bigger in Hollow Knight but now it just feels like nothing.
They're sacrificing the feeling of upgrading and becoming more powerful for the sake of keeping the game hard.

I can't remember where I first found her. I thought she was just some random character like Sherma until I saw that anon's post. I vaguely remember the second time I found her there were some ants I had to fight in a dead end room and I got pissed off they didn't drop anything so I started running around whacking shit to see if there was a hidden wall and she popped up out of the background shrubs.

Just beat the Judge and genuinely think the difficulty in this game is perfect. Every boss makes me sweat but when I finally get them down I just dance around and clear it nearly hitless. Feels amazing. So many hard games end up feeling like I've just bumbled through or gotten a lucky run but that's never happened once here.

Damage is either on par or less than the spear, but it makes up for it by being iframes on demand when you have silk that also gives you a bit of a grace period after the attack animation wears off so you aren't completely fucked over if a boss is standing on top of you.

Wanderer is just that a crest for wandering. You don't need to invest any lockets into it because it already has two exploration slots unlocked so you can always have compass slotted in. It has great movement and it's quick slash is great for burning down mobs. It isn't meant for fighting bosses and is just there to help you navigate the map.
