Lee Sin would be just as shit a choice as everyone in the roster already. League is full of monsters and characters with weird magic and weapons, the roster shouldn't be entirely humans with conventional weapons that swing them or punch people conventionally.

The fact that so many regions are underrepresented is insane. Azir would have been a great addition with lots of game design quirks. Riven was purposely made as a fighting game character back then, it was a nobrainer. Viego would also been hella cool. The absolute zero yordle presence is jarring. Overall the rooster is way too small, specially for a tag team fighter. And don't get me started with the lack of sex appeal, so many coom worthy whores in that game and they could only put in Ahri? No Morgana, Sona, Briar, Aurora, Katarina, Kindred, Lux, Zoe, Eve, Kaisa, Syndra, Elise, etc. Etc.?

for the name their shitty justification is it's double knockout, except they literally told us it's prounced as spelled, so actually Two-Ex-Kay-Oh. The real reason is to put it above every other fighting games in searchlists.
The game itself is being made by FGC people, big names and Riot didnt put them on a tight enough leash so they basically wasted Riots time and money on this to make their own terrible mix of things they like, its a game with no actual vision.

The Ruined King game, the Sentinels of Light event in League and the Viego Book were all supposed to be a huge push towards League becoming more of a full fledged media franchise instead of a Moba/Auto Battler. What a shit roster. Only good pics are the following: Darius, Ahri, Braum, Jinx. Even then they nerfed both Ahri and Jinx's looks. Jinx is freakishly tall and has her nu-outfit and not the original one that was more revealing. Ahri has a more masculine face and is really covered up. game has been in development since before 2019, it's stupid that they only have 9 characters ready at this point, and they are still making big changes to the mechanics. Keep in mind, allegedly one version of the game was completely scrapped and development restarted from zero. The game was originally a 1v1 fighter with a completely different artstyle, just think of all of the resources and time that were wasted in a version of the game that never saw the light of day. It's clear that the 2xko devs didn't have an idea of what kind of game they wanted to make beyond "lol fg", and that lack of planification resulted in 9 characters in 6 years.

My beef with it is that nobody really stands out, apart from Blitzcrank. The clothing is similar, their energy and first impression are the same level of "cool". I understand all these characters come from a game where they're all called literal HEROES but we're missing a lot of tried FG archetypes and I put that on poor adaptation of the franchise. Why does a fighting game need an intrusive anticheat? Let people cheat. It's a 1v1 genre, the most people they can disrupt is one other person. Add a report button and if there's enough reports the player gets autobanned, or even better matched only against other cheaters in a special cheater only pool. If you're too impatient for that to happen, then add a blacklist function that makes it so you never match up with them again, which even then is not that necessary because if they're cheating they're going to skyrocket to max rank and you'll never see them again anyway. There's literally no reason for Vanguard to be shackled to this.

As someone who played it for hours IRL, I think duos is much more fun than solos. You can solo grind the ladder in any fighting game, but playing a tag fighter as a duo is really unique and IMO should be the main selling point of this game.

I don't understand why bland heroes like these need to be in the roster. Ahri, Yasuo, Braum and Illaoi got their moment in the ruination game and jinx, vi and ekko got their own show. Darius is kinda generic and the most interesting character is blitzcrank, who's an extremely generic big robot. I know league's roster has become extremely boring, pumping out the same waifus for a decade now, but come on there are way better characters for a fighting game out there than jinx, even if she's from arcane.
