Man it's been at least 5 years since I stopped playing Heroes. Never felt more free after that.

Fucking sucks for Fire Emblem though. Nintendo really wanted to turn the series into a mainstay series, and outside of 3 Houses being good, Engage just completely going 180 on the tone and setting sucks.

And IntSys having minimal to no sway with any of their other series, I'd hope the series doesn't go on hiatus but they want to create a mass marketable series whilst constantly killing what makes the series enjoyable in the first place.

I just hope the rumor isn't real, we aren't doing too well in the SRPG genre lately, with most successes being remasters and remakes.

Taking a sample from the previous era on the 3DS before 3H, but not including games before that, it was always a mix. Towards the tail end of it we got an uberschizo who hated Echoes and would sperg out when it was mentioned, but Awakening rarely entered gameplay discussion. The most successful thread I saw back then was "Who did you marry" for Awakening. Otherwise it was just Fates vs Fates or Fates vs Echoes, with some "old FE vs new FE" sprinkled on top.
