Most decals were cheap in ONT, but some cost 300-500 and assuming they expand it, there will be 100+ of those. Vehicle parts are cheap, but they will add up, and there's also auras. I think you'd get burnt out if you played enough to buy everything day 1

Actual physics based platforming with unique maps/missions for each characters, no boost shit. Also has a fully fleshed out chao garden that builds on SA1s systems. The only 'bad' parts are the mech stages, but they can be fixed with speed mods or just toughed out for a first time experience.
SA1 is also good but the steam port is a bit jank without mods, and big/amy stages are far worse than SA2 mech stages IMO.

the only issue with sa2s story is some of the line delivery and execution but otherwise its pretty much perfect. sa1 is also really good. i've only seen cliffnotes but windsonic also seemed pretty good for story.

I'm of the opposite opinion, we don't see enough of Sonic's serious side.
If you have a character act care free in a serious enough situation, it comes across less as them being fearless and and more like them just not caring about what's at stake.
Frontiers is cool because it gave us fights where Super Sonic isn't an automatic win button, they aren't victory laps, Super Sonic has to fight as hard as he can to barely win, and it's one of only three games where he falls unconscious from the effort of winning.
