Me and a friend rented this and Killer Instinct Gold from Blockbuster one weekend. Game was kinda slow, and we were only able to perform one special move with the dude with the two axes, but it was still a lot of fun.

Captain Blood has a peculiar history. The game supposed to come out in 2006 but due to development hell and license issues is was released this year. That's right. It feels it's a game from a different era although it's not necessary a bad thing. It got this stylized look to it that I rather like. The game is a mindless button masher with simple combos. I enjoy it a lot, but again, it's a mindless button masher.

i mean, how was it mid? it was jrpg tier game, like tales or smt or something. 4 playable heroes, each has some weapons, secret weapons, lots of quests in game, lots of locations, cool visuals and colors, some bosses was in game too. this game was like 8/10 solid, they should've made sequel with cg cutscenes

pc version was bad, with cut cutscenes. xbox version was nice
