Series games are a coin flip if they're on the disk or if the disk comes with the Xbone version and you need to download the Series game instead meaning the Series version only exists on Microsoft's servers. I fully believe if Microsoft makes one more console it'll be digital only. I can't imagine them keeping it up anymore. As it is the Kingdom Hearts games were digital only and Yakuza had to be released as an LRG release.

It looks cool but it's just so much easier to emulate: you can upscale games, make loading times insignificant, use safestates as you please, make screenshots, use fast-forward and other hacks, you can even play some of these games online. Emulation is literally a biggest gaming achievement of human spirit, all you objectively need outside of it is a DS/3DS.

PE1 is better. Is it's own unique RPG. PE2 is just RE with uglier graphics because they dumped the anime look. Dino Crisis 1 is watered down RE with Dinos but still decent. DC2 is an arcade action shooter and overall much better. It even has a silly versus multiplayer where you can pick between Dinos and I think there was even a tank? Not sure on that one.

Physical games are an archaic format. Modern gaming allows for constant updates, patches, and expansions for games, while dedicated game cards/discs for a single game are unable to write said data to it. Discs are generally too slow to play the data on it and require installing said data onto the console's memory first plus download any missing data not on the disc and updates.

The only thing that physical has over digital is reselling on the aftermarket, which is something that not everyone cares about.

Okay, so sell it. Yakuza games don't sell for much at all outside of Dead Souls and the Australian Steelbooks of 4 and Dead Souls when it comes to the western market nowadays. PS2 1 and 2 got reprints by a Canadian store years ago which thankfully dropped the price heavily, especially on 2, and you can still buy them brand new sealed for $40ish. 3 and 4 were also in those reprints. 0 through 6 just got reprints on LRG for PS4 and they're the only ones holding any value at all now whereas the retail stuff is normally priced. Unless you have the Xbox LRG copies or 0 DC/Switch K1 you're not getting much return outside of like $20 per copy at best.

On the Japanese side you can get entire lots of games for $20 from Yahoo Auctions, and you can go on eBay right now and basically get the entire series on PS3 for $60. The most expensive I believe I saw was 1&2 HD Wii U going for like $25.
