The best way to deal with it is to do a recreation and hope for a karaoke + claw machine. Don't bother curing the practice poor and gamble the 2% until it heals itself after the Nikkei Sho. You can also gamble on recreation and cure it with the shrine visit event, you always prioritize getting the mood back to great to maximize trainings.

It might give you a slight boost, but it's not gonna be enough to make much of an impact in the match. You can put other strong front runner abilities on her like groundwork, inherit seiun sky's unique etc.

Vodka, Grass, Ryan are good LS options
Daiwa, Mayo (sparks) are good front options
El Condor is a much more viable pace chaser option than Taiki due to her skill, but still suffers vs front runner meta
Bakushin is more of a front running debuffer for this, but I don't see why you couldn't run her as an ace as well
Vodka and grass are easiest to build here and can make use of your MLB Eishin Flash more than front runners
Something like Kita, Flash, Halo/Sweep, Biwa, Helios. You could borrow Vodka to replace Biwa too. Up to you if you wanna pick a 4th speed with the remaining slot or bring Fine Motion. Or Agnes as she has LS savvy and front debuffs and a decent amount of uncaps for you
You can build fronts as well, but they'll take a lot more prep and parent planning to get what they need for the meta

the only reason why End Closers are viable in Cancer is because of Spurt/Shadow since the final spurt is on a straight. Yes it is a very short track, but Ends will have much more power than they do in Gemini so they speed up even faster and will catch up to Front Runners that proced Angling & Scheming most of the time (if they don't get BROCKED of course)

Skills descriptions being shit is a frequent Cygames issue, Granblue has struggled with this for over a decade and it appears they just enjoy forcing you to look at datamined wikis instead of informing the player directly for some esoteric reason. Stubborn Japanese boomers I suppose. A&S is so good compared to other accel skills because most others are 1.8 seconds of accel, while the former is a full 4 seconds. So you're getting double the time to quickly accelerate to max speed.

Yes maru and taiki ults wont give you any lengths at all on Cancer. Because their ults give you ACCELERATION, and on Cancer track, it activates at the point where your uma already has MAXIMUM TARGET SPEED, thus not gaining any speed.

Always remember:
Accel up is bad if your uma at Max Target Speed.
Speed up is bad if your uma is accelerating.
Speed up is good if your uma is at Maximum Target Speed, outside of Early-Leg.
Speed up is REALLY GOOD if it is still active the moment your uma enters the Final Leg.
