level up and limit break your cards
check the campaign goals before your start, choose cards and parents accordingly. if your uma has B/C long races then bring it to A by choosing good parent umas. if your uma is pace chaser or front runner add cards that add skills to that style

Okay, I get it. I just did my first Tachyon run and I love her. Not only did she absolutely refuse to not dominate every single race I slapped her in, but her personality is not nearly as atrocious as I thought it would be. In fact it's completely the opposite.

That's not quite true. Dream Journey was far more of an asshole than Golshi ever was. In fact, Journey is considered 'one of the worst in Japanese History' period. In ranking whose hardest to easiest to deal with, it's probably:
