>you can't even admit that Blue Creek is more interesting ?
>the otherworld expanded/ visually more interesting ?
You're just spewing bullshit, kid.
I was initially EXCITED for the Apartments, because it SEEMED LIKE they would've done a REmake 1 style expansion of the building.
But in the end, the whole place was significantly DOWNGRADED, streamlined, and "Zelda dungeonified". All the typical modern AAA slop and RE / SH DEmake cancers pop up right there and now:
Everything is spoonfed to you, all the "puzzles" have their "solutions" or "keys" in the very same room / in the absolute near vicinity, and entire segments are cut out as you "progress" through what are essentially closed loops taking you back to the main puzzle of the dungeon (the hanging radio, the locker box...). All while you get bombarded with what are essentially Doom 2016 style combat arena rooms.
And then there is the goddamn "Otherworld", taken straight out of The Movie once again, butchering the James' own inner world design and atmosphere of the whole game.
>You can't admit Eddie is handled better?
Sorry and not sorry, but anyone claiming such BS with a straight face is a school-dropout moron.
There's not a single character that was treated well in the SH2 demake, with Eddie being perhaps THE worst offending case of pure Flanderization.
Apparently, the old Eddie was not fat enough for the modern American audiences, so they made him a literal Jabba The Hut, clearly missing out the "Fit Fat" archetype, that not only actually COULD be into fucking Football, but was also clearly an indirect reference to Fullmetal Jacket.
Not only that, but you clearly cannot have sad, relatable "villains", so Eddie was now made disgusting and abnoxious in every single scene he pops up. Crapcom ruined the Chief Briar in similar manner in the RE2 demake, making him into fullblown schizo that blows his cover and cool the very first second he waltzes into the scene.
>you hate everything!!
Incorrect.
