I played this within the last 3 days. My electricity just returned 4 days ago. It was a full whole month of blackout. Water returned a week earlier.

Flood/landslide. Destroyed road in my suburbs. Had to eat canned food, and lug big bottles of water daily. Had to go to public library in town to use their amenities (toilet, power outlet for phones, USB fan, LED light, powerbank).

I'm a shut in. Exactly like MC in the game. I grew up abused, exactly like the MC. Fallout with dad, exactly like the MC. All that trauma, all the time being the blacksheep, scapegoat has made me a broken person.

Not even goid with the neighbors. Never messed with them, but they other way around, with their stupid fucking karaoke right outside my place. I've lashed out twice. Once, from the inside, trashing my place. Twice, actuslly confronting them about their stuoid shit. They acted like they apoligzed for it, for like 1 week, at then they're back at it again, in fact it's gotten worse, like deliberate.

It's even more deliberate during this past 1 month if hell, in the dark. They have the generators, everyone's camping outside my house, and they use the genrator for their fucking karaoke machine, even late into 1-2am.

So when outside help came in, like some relief efforts, it feels like they're trying to get inside my house. Like the FEMA. And the neighbors feels like the Visitors, they truly do. They deliberately used the karaoke machine, revving their cars and bike engine and exhaust at night during this ordeal.

For the first time in my life, I felt true anxiety, I finally feel that creeping, sudden panic attack feeling. I know what that feels now. 2 weeks I didn't go out the house. After I ran out of water and light source. The next day I came out to head into town. Then I truly saw the magnitude of the devastation. It's straight from a video game, it's like fucking Uncharted or something. Had to climb muddy hills, and crawl under fallen bamboo tunnels. I knew road/power/water is not going to be fixed soon.

The symptoms was meta too. The in game shit. I have multiple health condition, from my abused life. The red eye, teeth for example. And all that narrative and stories, the backgrounds of people and their stories, and the endings, the stories, it's all fucking meta to me. It's fucking karmic. Synchronicity. I feel like the game was made for me, and I played it right at the fucking precise time.
