I hate how GAME DESIGN SCHOOL this game is

Seriously this is the only game that's like the classic action titles, and yet it still has too much modern flaws.

after having played for around 5 hours i finally noticed that
perfect dodges and dodges in general are executed at the final moment, this is expected
parrying through clash/same time attack as enemy is inputted like half a second if not a full second earlier than the dodges
it seems counterintuitive but now im a parry god by actually just timing my attacks

How are we talking? In comparison to NG2 Black’s hard mode as that wasn’t too bad. 3 hard mode was rough because the game kinda sucked.

I like the game a lot. Definitely has some flaws, like every game, but overall I think this is a major success in all the areas Bayonetta 3 failed.
It almost feels like an apology. It's very fun to play and the quality feels consistent throughout.

I can definitely tell you after being subjected to like a million enemy/boss highly telegraphed "jump up into the air and butt stomp you" attacks that I had to literally perfectly time the attack with their ass hitting my head.

The timing seems tighter because it conflicts with the input logic for bloodmagic interrupts (the longer you wait to bloodmagic interrupt the more stagger you get) so there’s no frame grace like there is on the ordinary parry input, where it’s always advantageous to grant the player the clash rather than taking damage so a little leniency is never gonna be frustrating.

I'm on stage 6? maybe 7 on Normal, button mashing WILL get you crushed, especially on bosses up to this point, and I didn't mention the purgatory gates either which are hard as balls on normal depending on which level you choose for them.

NG4 kicks ass, the only downsides are the on-rails segments, particularly the dragonfly gliding and only because it's a little janky. The combat is on point, perfectly delivers the bloodlust satisfying feeling I get playing NG2 or 2 Black

Ive beaten NG2 on master ninja several times and I was shocked at how fucking hard this game is. Im 7 hours in and I was forced to switch to normal after eating shit at one of the bosses for like half an hour straight. So far, this is a fucking damn fun game, easily among Platinums best ever, and one of the best character action games in years, but if youre expecting it to be anything like the itagaki games youll be disappointed.

I don't get the point of charging bloodraven.

Enemies are less aggressive than DMC5 on the hardest difficulty. NG4 is a complete baby game compared to Sekiro or Elden Ring yet you all are so smug about shitting on soulslikes even though they’re vastly better than the action slop we get now.

I want to use the bloodraven full circle triangle charge but the more I try to fit it into my combos on staggered bosses the more I think it fucking sucks even if I like the move itself. It's even worse for its intended purpose which is AoE you'll just fucking die trying to do it.

Maybe it's just me and I suck at the game, but I don't find Hard Mode all that fun either. I'm also turning it down to Normal. For Ninja Gaiden 2, the enemy was super aggressive, you had to be on your toes the entire time, and they were constantly surrounding you. In this game, the enemy isn't all that smart, you're hit off-screen by some bullshit, and after 3 or so hits, you're pretty much fucked. Great. Everything flows together but shuriken cancels and general enemy management is as important as ever.
Guillotine throw has been returned to it's former glory as well which I like. Also a few extra air attacks like being able to kick enemies off a cliff is great. It feels like they buffed the enemies up a ton to match up with how strong the player is now.

Soulsdogs are scared to learn new set of skills to beat this game that's why they're mad. I'm having a lot of fun, this game is a breath of fresh air for me after years of playing From stuff regurgitated over and over. There is no witch time. slowdown dodge is not witch time.
Dodge offset is only central in bayo because of weaves. it has no use like this for NG4.
Ninja Gaiden has always had telegraphed attacks. if they didn't it would be unplayable.
Unless you are talking about telegraphed special attacks that are countered with bloodraven, which bayo also has nothing similar to.
Bayonetta has no built in parry mechanic either. the accessory is so expensive most players will not use it until a second playthrough.

Have you tried hitting them? Alternatively grapple to the big rocks Y into tengus and initiate air strings where you can guillotene them into each other while pressing on others. When the shield guys arrive blood raven X to break their guard. Drill works best and can easily hold blood X for quick kills. Just gotta control the tengus. They telegraph attacks well enough that you can parry into Y or into blood counter
