Went ahead and included Mario is Missing and New Super Luigi U as Luigi's 4th and 5th game. Mario is Missing does not have Luigi's name in the title and wasn't developed by Nintendo, and NSLU was originally released as DLC for NSMBU and not a standalone game so that's why they were initially left out. So they're more honorable mentions here.

Fuck everyone here, Luigi's Mansion 2 was excellent. Maybe the mission structure would have been a downside if it was made for a home console, but no, it was designed for a handheld, and it played to the strength of handhelds.
Having multiple mansions was so cool. Each of them felt and looked totally different, and added a ton of variety to the experience.
