lucemon only really goes up to lvl 5's, chaos mode, the luce x isn't easy to get out, let alone 2 of them.
ordine needs 2 lvl 6's to jogress
maste is pretty much the only non meme option, there are a handful of yellow/purple decks, but maste is the only one that really even will build more than a single stack without you already being a billion years ahead. something like puppets could, but why would you ever run ordine and try to build 2 kaguya instead of running some nyaboot and abusing the warp, if you already have 2 kaguya sticking you won the game turns ago. and puppets is kind of mid with a lot of things just countering the deck, too many weaknesses to be good.

maste is the only realistic option, not even realistic, ordine is just genuinely good in maste, the problem is that maste is kind of just a meme.

x skills from agent are also very good. Revive is generally the one you use on mega+ but you also put revive on your healer and aegiomon

You want Great Embrace, and then you can do pretty much whatever you want. 2 Great Embrace healers makes things really easy. Combo Magic glitch makes magic attackers better than physical attackers but you won't have SP problems with max SP/atk outside of the last boss and the O12 gauntlet since regen mode still works

I had a Flaremon which was immune against fire and I put Known Bug on my Crescemon, still not easy, I was level 30

I was reflecting upon the game. I think Mega should have been unlocked at agent level 6 to improve the pacing. I had all these Ultimates at high levels, and then switching to Megas in these last levels of the game feels like they aren't scratching the enemies. Now I feel like I have to grind to get all my Megas back up to higher levels again.

Adventure is a somewhat competitive deck that can be built for cheap since its slapping together two starter decks and adding in the white tai tamer, which is the most expensive piece. You can also wait for the Sakuyamon advanced set which gives you a premade Sakuyamon deck, which still is somewhat competitive despite the banlist hits, that you can buy additional pieces for.

Overheal + Combo Magic or Stout Strength. If they're mixed, do either Combo Magic, Overheal, or tune them for something else. Magic is just better than physical like 80% of the time, and Combo Magic is better than Stout Strength on a 1:1 level.
Booing and Hustle Cry are decent, but need specific unique skills to make them truly work. Hustle Cry also has a place if you're trying to make Knightmon work, and need the external patch to his accuracy. Booing is downright necessary for any debuffs, because otherwise enemies will tend to shake the debuff immediately, since they'll burn all three normal turns in one round.
Counter is decent but unreliable. Fortifying Charge is cute, but not great, and kinda clashes with overheal.
Prankster is extremely niche because most of the good stuff is guaranteed to work, and it doesn't help the iffy ines enough.
SP management is simply not a problem lategame. They're good abilities for early in your main playthrough, or maybe towards late if you're using the double SP cost gear on someone, but you simply do not need SP that much towards the end. Soothing Song is not awful if you have someone who wants literally nothing else, I guess. The HP from the party regen & drain skill is pathetic.
Cheer or Advance Planning can actually be decent, especially on Mega+, to survive the first turn before you get actions and get your gameplan rolling.
Stout Defense and Spirit have similar applications, but are more selfish, so not really as good.
Crit rate is a boring and low impact, but solid option. Crit damage is only good on digimon with high crit rate moves to begin with.
Slow Start and Meditation kinda suck because they aren't huge bonuses, and kinda manipulate you into making bad choices on their behalf.
Any of the low HP stat scalers are just worse than the Stout versions or Combo Magic.
Weak Point Blitz is either finicky or very small impact, I have never noticed it actually work.

The one that makes you go last is pointless, just don't train that digimon in speed if you want to go last.

Secret Sage Art is irrelevant past midgame when you can afford to use a skill every turn, and has equipment that can do it if absolutely necessary anyways.
Extra strikes tech is potentially good, but too unreliable.

Also my brain is shit. Cheer and Planning Ahead are offensive only. Not worth, use an actual buffer/debuffer if you want buffs.
Also means stout defense and spirit are better, but still selfish and niche because All My Friends Are Dead is a bad place to be.

I think they should have stylized the gun legs at least. They technically are, but it just feels super bottom heavy, compared to his top design that's finger blasters. Maybe if they gave him some more stuff on his top half, it wouldn't feel so bottom heavy. Aegiomon and his Aegiochusmon form's designs have some JP superhero aesthetics to it, not sure if it was intended during the initial design during the Digimon Crusader run, but they definitely took the JP superhero theme of Aegiomon and put in some focus on the JP hero aspect into Time Stranger.
Aegimon himself has a red scarf, which was common for oldschool JP heroes, his Aegiochusmon may be inspired by Kamen Rider and his multiple forms, including a dark form and a super form/mid season upgrade, Jupitermon himself doesn't have a JP superhero theme himself in my opinion besides his cape, but he does a super hero landing in Time Stranger, Wrath Mode in Time Stranger is literally Ultraman. it wouldn't surprise me, if they retroactively put a JP superhero theme on Aegiomon and his line, if it wasn't already intended during his Crusader debut

Yeah, that's pretty much their only use case. Personally I don't think it's worth it in any of their cases, but if you want to use one of those digimon, that's basically required on them, or someone they'll be deployed with.
And no, it still takes all of it. There's no way to reduce that cost as far as I'm aware, besides just having less SP. I imagine the best one would be the one that drains SP on magic attacks, but I can't remember if there actually are any that run off of int. There probably is.

Time Strangers theming just works really well. More than people realize.

Magic arena is free. You can easily play with what youre given and save up to get other cards/packs.

It felt like the game was about to end two or three times before this, so I didn't trust it. I assumed there'd be a twist during the 'final' fight and we'd time travel again, there would be a time to prepare then, and then the REAL final fight would occur. Or something like that.

Yeah, it's the only way to get the last two Digimon and possibly Jupitermon too. Once you do that, you can go do Mega+ difficulty in NG+ if you want.
