The idea was that you've already beaten the game, now you can replay the game for the sake of challenges and unlocking even more things in your goofy outfit because the story has already been viewed. This will probably be my last RE game if the rumors are true that they're just gonna do 2 or 3 more remakes next.
It's ironic considering I still love playing DQ remakes, but DQ isn't an ongoing story like RE was. A DQ remake is more time with this specific cast of characters, but the RE remakes are retreading this shit when I'm waiting on these characters to come back and have more of their stories told, because none of their stories are finished.

Already feel no real commitment to RE as a franchise anymore anyways. Already sold off basically all of my games and merch dating back 20 years because of the disinterest I've had since they spammed out these remakes. Series just became another Silent Hill, too fucking obsessed with the past.

Latching on to the previous game's popular character because Grace is too boring?

Leon will appear in Requiem, but it'll be the Resident Evil 2 manhua Leon.

His story begins with him warping into the ruins of main timeline Raccoon City after dealing with God and his minions. Gameplay will be him shooting ki blasts at monsters from REmake2 and 3 and punching them so hard they fly into the sky. During his campaign, he'll feel ki residue that shows him the events of RE2, RE3, and Outbreak, upsetting him.

After learning what happened in the main tlimeline's Raccoon City, he flies off to discover more information. As he is flying, he feels a faint trace of Alyssa Ashford's ki and goes to investigate. Instead, he finds Grace being chased by the stalker monster in the hospital. The final boss sequence will be him tearing the stalker from limb to limb with his bare hands, punching the head off the guy that said Grace was special in the trailer, escorting Grace out of the hospital, then blowing the hospital up with a massive ki blast. The ending has him flying a bewildered Grace home.

The stringer has Leon in a room with several dossiers showing the histories of mainline Leon, Ada, Claire, Chris, and Sherry. Enraged by how much he and his friends have had to suffer in another universe, manhua Leon personally vows to end B.O.W.s once and for all in the main timeline.
