Golshi is still pretty good because her unique allows her to get into pace chaser position before her acceleration kicks in. I've seen a few Golshis win, but that's about it. Gotta be max speed + medium S of course, with red shift, shooting, pumping iron, and triumphant pulse doesnt hurt to pass them in those final seconds either.

Just avoid Go Home Specialist as a heal because there's no downhills on this level. Swinging Maestro is really all she needs

If you can find right-handed you should for that extra speed boost, Brian gives it out pretty regularly. Stamina, power, and wit looking good. If you just had medium S I think that'd be good enough.

For this race? I think so unless you get like right handed and summer runner double circled on the same uma for 120+ speed.

On a max speed uma, the boost from S distance is 126+ speed. So you're at 1326 speed BEFORE green skills. If you can add green skills on top of that you can get above 1400 speed. But yeah it was less important in mile because the final straight was much shorter so not as much time to accelerate to max speed. The straight here is longer and you need that max speed or else you'll get passed by someone who has medium S. If you raced in Taurus, you'll understand. That extra 100-200 speed makes all the difference between 1st and 2nd/3rd.

If the speed rainbows are good, you can go for that. But it's helpful to train things like power, stamina, and even wit (when there's no other good options) because Summer training is level 5.

Your speed training is likely to be higher level than your stamina/power outside of summer camp. It's a great time to get your stamina and power up, but it depends on what rainbows are available. Either way you want to go into summer camp with a full energy bar preferably. That way you can do two trainings + a wit + one more training without resting

The whole point of summer training is that it temporarily maxes all facility levels. Speed is usually your highest-level facility anyways so there's less difference between training it during summer camp vs. any other time
If you get a good speed rainbow then go for it, of course, but otherwise it's probably more value overall to do a training type that you wouldn't be leveling up otherwise

I've basically been building teams filled to the brim with as many debuffers as possible as a F2P and it serves me well. My one horse that doesn't debuff per team and is built to run (non optimally of course) tends to win races she has no right to win and I suspect it's because all the debuff wit horses are lobotomizing their team of speedy niggers.

You pretty much need S on pacers to be able to overtake the front when they have S
I did a lot of testing with Tachyon pace. No S was an absolute dealbreaker and I essentially consider both Red Shift and Shooting to be mandatory as well

Borrow a parent with as many medium sparks as possible, preferably 7+. You dont need turf S so if you dont have any turf sparks you'll live. It will make it a lot more consistent, then have your own parent bring as many medium as possible. Remember, 3* sparks are more likely to proc than 1-2*, and parent sparks are twice as more likely to proc as grandparent sparks, so keep that in mind.

I still remember feeling really proud that I got King her triple crown and the secret Arima Kinen event on my fifth run with her after flunking the first 3. These days I've figured out the secret to running her and capping out both speed and power and can make her CM competitive. It's been quite some few months and it'll only be a few more till I get my own MLB Kitasan to make a truly genuine first rate King.

The reason she doesnt need it is because she has double right and summer which is an effect 120 speed. Basically she has medium S without medium S. Ideally you'd have Medium S AND green speed boosters for even more speed. But she fares well enough as is I find

Body and Mind is expensive as fuck. Triumphant pulse is really good. I've bene in a lot of test rooms, it's making the difference for these paces, especially Oguri since she gets it for free! She's the strongest pace here without a doubt and it's because of Triumphant Pulse and her access to Gourmand as well, not to mention good growths and what have you. Triumphant Pulse is better, I'm not seeing Body and Mind at ALL. There is just too many other skills you need to buy

Your stamina debuffers are good no doubt, but dominator is just much better at slowing down fronts. Most S. Marus will be insulated with two gold heals and will survive your stamina debuffs OR be out of range.

Meanwhile, Stamina debuffs won’t do shit if you have just enough stamina, which decent umas usually do. An Oguri with 850 Stamina and 2 golds needs at least 4 Myst Murmurs to hit to gas her out, while just one Dominator will always slow her down no matter what, there is always a direct effect.

Lates definitely seem to do better when fronts dont exist or job.

Pace seem to do better when fronts exist as they keep up with the fronts and leave the lates kinda behind. But they can struggle to pass the front without the right luck or abilities.

Just my observation, but lates do better here when no fronts exist or if they dont get their angling off or whatever.

I've seen Golshi actually pass a front before because she can keep track of the pace due to her anchor ability, and rarely i've seen a late do it, but it's rare
