My Windows fatigue has reached critical mass and I refuse to switch to the React Native + Palantir Durgasoft 11 operating system. My next laptop purchase will be one that I want to work well with Linux. I'm looking for something like the Surface Pro that has a good pen for drawing and a stand so I can use the keyboard at the same time. A custom kernel has been developed for the Surface but at least for the 7 it's still too dysfunctional to be usable--the cameras outright don't work and the drivers will never be upstreamed, and the pen support is extremely lacking. It's probably too niche for such a set of features but I'd like to know if there are any good alternatives. What really shocked me about running Linux on a laptop was how little heat dissipation compared to Windows, I never heard my fans run on Linux but regularly on Windows even with just a browser tab playing videos.

If you for example want to transfer cargo from one vehicle to another, zombies will get to within 2 feet of the vehicles and then become type 2. Shouting, firing guns, beeping horns, will not get them to become unglued from the vehicle. Meanwhile your making noise to try and shift them has attracted five thousand other zombies who will eat you because you tried to go through a set of double doors YOU LITERALLY PICKED UP THE KEYS FOR AND WALKED THROUGH THE OTHER DOOR FIVE MINUTES AGO BUT NOW THE DOOR YOU WANTED TO OPEN STAYS CLOSED MEANING YOU GET FUCKING GANGBANGED BY THE TRAIN OF ZOMBIES YOU CAN'T OUTRUN BECAUSE YOU HAD THE GALL TO KILL FIVE ZOMBIES WITH A HAMMER MEANING YOU'RE NOW IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ASTHMA ATTACK AND CAN'T MOVE FASTER THAN A WALKING PACE

GzDoom doesn't really do demos (in the regular sense anyway), but as much as that sucks, it's a tradeoff I'm fine with making for the enhanced featureset.
After all, there's no vanilla Hideous Destructor or HDoom.
