Monarch is is already a fat ass package with how it’s consistency works, so it’s one of those decks that you probably need to play around with fitting two in there. It's playable in the sense that you get a couple of interruptions and you can resist maybe 2 handtraps, but the combos/lines are very telegraphed, Pendulum as a whole is terrible in the current meta and Apo got banned. The point of Towers-like bosses is that just putting them on the board presents a gamestate with black-and-white questions and answers about the opponent's wincons. You out them, or you have some other means of otherwise killing the opponent without directly addressing the board, or you lose.

The crux here is that Towers that don't just wait for you to present a bigger beatstick and go to battle phase significantly complicate the question. It doesn't matter if Liger Dancer doesn't technically provide "more" disruption than Murakumo or Snow Devil or Citadel, or what have you. You can extend and spin your wheels all you want; every deck still needs to win the game at the end of the day, and if you need to hit the other player in the face to do that, it suddenly becomes a problem if your only ways to remove the opponent's board first get blown up.

They can put up 3x towers with only one raigeki but the 'raigeki' is a full board clear. The 3rd towers will be 5300 though which is nice as it's harder for Accesscode to beat over it.

The main problem with Raidraptors is there are one or two hard choke points for the combo that if interacted with correctly, just ends their turn 99% of the time. On top of being very weak to Maxx C, Droll and Fuwalos.

It works fine with Radiant Typhoon Vision. The only issue aside from it being kinda bad is that if you activate it then it won't be a spell in the GY for Sky Strikers who all run 3x Vision.

The support and new direction of the deck is being a blind-second OTK. You """""can""""" build a going first variant but with the recent Apo ban your board doesn't end up being ideal (plus you burn through your OTK cards so you aren't very well prepared for your following turn). Fiendsmith/Mitsu cards aid here but building a big board and passing feels counter intuitive to what the deck wants you to do.

Funnily enough no, only 1 card got the half damage effect: Nepyrim, and it's just an extra normal summon so you can just not use the effect (I could have sworn there was another card but I can't find it). There are a few FTKs still available, but the current overabundance of handtraps is very rough.

Regular OTK by going second. You cram as many board breakers in the deck as you can and deconstruct your opponent's board. The deck is very consistent and a normal summon of Gem-Armadillo is enough to OTK.

The labewbew card does not destroy "at the end of the chain", it destroys on resolution of the effect, then the chain LINK ends. Same as The Fallen and the Virtuous. It's just that one targets and the other doesn't.

I get Diamond Dispersion is their new cheat card. It's very easy to summon and it can cheat out 3 of the classic fusions from deck. The issue is the OG Gem-Knight fusion monsters are pretty bad. Dispersion is just one of their cards, but even just looking at him, he can do something like summon Ruby+Prismaura+Aquamarine, then you can Prismaura pop one, Ruby tribute Prismaura to boost to 4950 with piercing, then Aquamarine crash to bounce 1 and resummon Dispersion.
But you're never just summoning Dispersion unless their board is empty and you want to play around Nib.
You're always going to have like Lady Diamond+Master Diamond as well at the very least. And Master Diamond will usually be copying Topaz. Also you'll have Hollowcore as an omninegate to protect your OTK.

The deck shits out a million damage off of a single card resolving. And it has enough that nobody even bothers running every starter they have available.
