The fight is not bad, but her teleporting sucks. You will take damage from sprinting in the arena, and it feels like shit considering it isn't telegraphed (or even an attack).

That's the point, to punish players who think sprinting is a safe way to gain space and heal. She has a minimum distance from Hornet that she spawns, so simply walking (or just dashing one or two times) will always have her appear close to you, but not so close that you'll get hit from contact

a tier is wrong. i killed t. trobbio on my second try and first trobbio on my first try (same with lace 2). father of the flame took me like 12-15 attemps. also the unravelled should be at least A

I don't necessarily have an issue with this design approach, but in my opinion, it kind of falls flat when you consider how big Lost Lace's arena is. They might as well have halved the length of the arena because there is never a reason to have Lost Lace off screen. Would have achieved the same result without feeling janky.

Widow, sinner, and judge are all S tier.
Savage beastfly is D tier.

I can see the vision, what they tried to do with that final boss but I feel it was missing something. Like I feel if they just told her voice actress to make more angry sounding, seethe induced voice clips and then put them in the second phase to further emphasize that Lost Lace is just all of her seethe and madness personified it would have massively improved the fight with no other changes. The first phase was alright, the second phase needed something extra instead of just slightly increasing attack speed and making the screen full of black piss and it would have been fine, maybe kino even.

This. Father of The First Flame is one of my favorite bosses in Silksong, likely for being somewhat unconventional. I only wish the reward for beating it was better.
It's really fun to use the large space to bounce around in the first phase.

At least I saw the Paintersses attacks, the actual final boss of E33 is such garbage I guarantee not half the people that played even saw what he can do because doing any endgame content at all invalidates him entirely.

Is she? She was one of the few bosses I one rounded. But I found her very late into act 2 so since she's actually the same level as Last Judge I was probably over powered.

Phantom is like Lace 1.5, if you come to her not overpowered she’s really interesting and fun to fight. Mechanically she works almost exactly like Lace, except instead of lunging, she throws her pin and then warps to it. So she can lunge in any direction (not just across or up and down at 45 degree angles) and you can’t pogo punish the whiff on it. When survivability/TTK doesn’t let you faceroll her and you actually have to learn the fight it’s kino.

In fact, I’d say both Second Sentinel and Phantom deserve A, and Bell Eater deserves B or C… I think you probably underappreciate both SS and Phantom because you fought them later than the devs planned and they were trivialized by the scaling somewhat. Because those fights are both peak and you must appreciate them mechanically on some level if you have such high regard for the Laces and Karmelita, which feel very similar as “duels”.

It's true, Second Sentinal I didn't find until right before LL.
That said I love Bell Eater in that it feels really different than any of the other monsters, and while I love duels I like this sort of stuff too. And of course that finish.
