Three Houses has a few good aesthetics, but the graphics and the artwork themselves are very weak. Easily the weakest point of the game.

The fact that gameplay is brain dead is probably also why it's so mainstream. Even women can beat the game so it has a huge appeal.

Even I who struggled with Engage and Fates normal, 3H was remarkably easy even on hard.
Its strange how the hardest difficulty was DLC.
Its like the game was afraid to get you on a pinch.
Meanwhile Engage which seemed more geared towards first time players has stuff like chapter 11 where they trust the player enough to overcome no emblems, no party change and no rewind feature.

Many people aren't daunted by so much the difficulty of the games, rather the complexity of the systems. Stuff like having to keep track of your weapon type, your positions, the enemy's. There's a reason why they added bright yellow lines to openly tell the player who is in the enemy range, so dumb people with no awareness don't get surprised.
