You guys seem to think my criticism and disappointment with CrossWorlds is me wanting Sonic to fail. I want to enjoy the game, but SEGA isn't making this game to appeal to Sonic fans, and if I do buy it, I don't think there will be anyone to play it with. Ian Flynn is too arrogant to write Sonic. He can't make any attempt at writing "wind" without mocking it right on the page. He grew up on Archie. He wanted to write archie. he encircled himself in Sonic and now he's stuck with it. He never wanted to be part of the game canon, he wanted to write the Archie canon.
If he had more control, he would just turn the game canon INTO the Archie canon. Hiring him onto the games was a mistake.
