I personally really appreciate Choco. Not sure how involved the artists art with the writing for their characters but I think he absolutely nailed Melusines design, there's a genuinely deep love and appreciation for mecha musume design there (it did not remotely surprise me to learn he was a KOS-MOS fan), but also I think Melusines story is a great tragic love that plays really well into her dialogue and personality. Her neediness is born of her desire to be loved etc. and Choco, whether he was involved in writing her that way or not, clearly understands that part of her.

All of that and he's drawn her a thousand times, from complex visualisations of how her armor works, to small little etch-a-sketch pics of her showing that the two clock-hand weapons she uses are named after Geoffrey and Fromont (Melusine's sons in the original legend) and which is which. Any artist that draws their character outside of official material is cool, but Melusine has so much and it's genuinely all amazing and shows Chocos personal love for her.

If you clear LB7 you can get a daily quest where you can farm them.

If you're to the point where you're caught up on the story, all there really is to do is use your natural AP on free quests that give you mats you need. The only time to get a bunch of them "fast" is during a lotto, but I have no idea when the next feather lotto is

What else are you going to do with your AP during dead weeks? Go farm whatever you think is needed. Yes, it sucks. But it adds up over time (a LOT of time...). Also you'll eventually get an event that has feathers that drop from farming nodes. Look ahead at future events to see when/where you could farm shit you want.

Like myself, I farmed the shit out of Charlotte and Fuyuki so I don't need bones anymore but that still took me a few years. But now I don't have to stare at spreadsheets saying I need 3,000+ bones to level up my Servants. Now, I moved onto needing 3,000+ bullets...

Ordeal Call Hawaii node has a guaranteed shell that drops a feather every other day. There are a handful of feathers in the tower event if you have access to it. There are 20ish feathers in the next Summer shop and since it's Hawaii there will probably be at least one chicken node but it may not necessarily be the best currency node.

Best case is if we get a mail drop that has feathers. There might be some feathers in some of the main interludes on a dead week and any Advanced Quest with a Feather drop CE should drop around 3 each.

With feathers right now you're out of luck, there isn't an event in close proximity where you will be able to get a very substantial amount, but there will be 20 something from events (next Summer has 26 of them on shop and rewards), specially events of the 1st half of next year and the one slated for next year's june (Dancing Dragons). Check that at the event compendium on the OP.

There's a raid that drops feathers on Gudaguda this year but the droprate there for feathers isn't great (18% so Salem is twice better with half the AP). That raid quest is more of a solar hide and dragon scale one. As you can see in the image >>527684643, not many opportunities for feathers in the closest upcoming farming events so you're on your own until next year when the event shops will have more of them and you'll get a 'red' tier farmable event for it.
