Guardian is not that bad imho, it's just that blocking only really works against normal sized enemies. Fighting knight-type enemies is ridiculously easy on him but fighting big enemies like corrupted erdtree avatars, death rite birds, dragons etc doesn't feel right because blocking feels awkward.

The reflect deals stance damage, and depending on the boss you can get consistent guard counters off which also deal good stance damage. If you were lucky enough to get a good build together during your run the counters can also deal solid damage. Holy burst, those who walk in death, increased guard counter damage, improved guard, and every kind of damage resistance are your very best of friends. Having the glow on executor's sword should buff it significantly.
Right now the sword is comparable to his unupgraded starting weapon, but at least with the glow it should be as strong as a purple weapon or even better. It's just such retarded design that the parry stance gimps your damage so significantly that it's basically useless.

The bell is good overall. It only falls off on day 2. It acts as a fine weapon to *ring* *ring* when you have a sliver of fp left and can't cast a spell but really want to deplete all your fp before taking your meth.
If you have any sort of passive fp regen it becomes truly free and then you can ring it a few times before any spell to ensure the enemy or boss responds to the bell wraith and not your spell, so the spell doesn't miss.
It's tech, it doesn't need to be op it only needs to broaden your toolkit.

To answer your other questions, you dual wield spell tools and offhand the one that boosts the school you're focusing. PoD's scaling far outstrips any other spell tool in the game, but before you level faith you'll just want to use the moon scepter. Talismans is pretty basic, you just use whatever buffs what spell type you're using. Cheesing Malenia with Night Comets? Offhand the loss staff and use Ritual Sword, Godfrey, Magic Scorp, and an optional such as crimson tear+2 or ritual shield. You get the idea, the strength of this build is that you get to change your spells all the fucking time. You can just kill Fire Giant phase 1 with ADLS and then cerulean tear comet azur phase 2 into nonexistence without it getting a chance to do anything.

Personally I wouldn't go above 43/43 for INT/FTH, since it's the softcap of both the Golden Order Seal and the Staff of the Great Beyond.
Also make sure to use Rellana's cameo with the SoNaF and Rellana's swords since it gives like 50%+ damage to their skills.
If doing that build at level 200 I'd just get 30 + radagon icon/70 DEX for damage + casting speed and endurance for armor.

For raw numbers sure, but the point of INT/FTH is the flexibility it gives the player + all the hybrid sorceries and incantations.

There is an item called Wending Grace that revives you once. In solo you start with it as a passive instead of an item.
