In terms of Portal Overtuned cards its as follows.

Sylvia > Orchis > Alouette

Alouette needs a stat line nerf, like 1 / 3 so she doesnt feel as oppresive. She brings an entire other Mech with her on Evo so having shit base stats is fine.

Orchis also needs the puppets she gets on super evo to not be Enhanced Puppets. The fact that she can kill your stuff guaranteed with bane while also having the option to go for face for 7 is fucking ridiculous. Either that or some stat nerfs, being an 8/8 is so fucking hard to deal.

And ofc Sylvia, the queen of value, she draws if you need to be aggressive, she heals if you are against aggro, she can kill 1 enemy for 1 evo or 2 for 1 superevo. The stupid part is that she kills with NO conditions and has decent base stats to trade with. If someone plays Sylvia back to back on you it's almost impossible to win. She could do half of what she does atm and she would still be 3x on every portal deck.

I have been playing the game for over a week now on both PC and mobile. I am not F2P as I paid $200 for my first deck. Initially, the economy seems to be very bad (500 gold pack price, lower vial from liquefying silvers, and, critically, no liquefy first 3 copies). I thought it would sucks so bad as a F2P player or a low-spender. One week ahead, I changed my mind. The economy is fine and I can enjoy many good decks. In my current opinion, the only thing that need change is the no liquefy first 3 copies rule.

I am not the luckiest player (no 100 packs key jackpot) and neither I do any reroll. Just straight up normal player that buys all crystal package, plus battle pass. Currently, I have 2 top tier, pretty much fully upgraded decks (puppet portalcraft and artifact portalcraft, 3 if you include hybrid). I also have enough vials from extra cards to upgrade my half-baked decks into good viability (ramp dragon, midrange sword, aggro abyss). The only classes where I don't have enough resources to even make half-baked decks are runecraft and havencraft, in which both have very expensive top tier decks (I am absolutely fine with this, F2P players and low-spenders aren't supposed to have everything). Finally, I have around 7000 gold that I save for next expansion (that is still growing everyday) as I am satisfied enough with my current collection.

So far so good. I am having a blast with this game and I have variety of viable decks. So, what happens that suddenly change my mind and my perspective on the economy? It turns out that the economy is REALLY supported by the freebies that Cygames give (Daily packs, park keys, events, events, events (many of them), bonus packs from here and there, and recently, 3 free legendary packs). So, as long as Cygames keep pumping up these freebies, I think the economy is going to be fine.

As much as I hate the no liquefy first 3 copies rule (and expensive cosmetics lol), I can't give the game negative review anymore.

Honestly I’m just having a lot of fun with this game and wanted to post something positive about it after seeing all the negative reviews.

I’ll freely admit that I’m not a FTP player, but I haven’t spent a ton (only $200) and I’m really enjoying the fast-paced experience and play styles so far.

I’ve never played the original Shadowverse so I’m not doing a direct comparison here. I will say however that compared to the CCGs/TCGs I’m used to (Hearthstone, MTG including physical) the cost here really doesn’t seem out of line from what I’m accustomed to with this genre. Again, not comparing to the original, just the experience of a totally new player.

I was going to wait longer to write a post like this so I could speak with more gameplay experience, but I have a few decks built with reasonable success and am having a ton of fun, and because I almost didn’t start this game because of some of the negative posts I wanted to write from my experience to encourage other new players to try it out!

Honestly, Abyss legendaries will probably be safe for a few sets. Aragavy is just 7 board damage on a decent body. Can threaten a ton of damage on evo if he's not dealt with, and he still can be kinda useful as a for razory claw.
Medusa can clear super evo boards, and if they don't kill her when you have an evo or super, you threaten an OTK. With evo and Cerb, it's just an OTK
Cerb is amazing, but she comes out late. Can threaten a kill with ghost set up, clear a board with super evo while nuking their health a ton and setting up some healing for you. Can go more for healing out of kill range in exchange for damage, but she does restrict you to no 1 drops if you plan on using her evo for focused damaged or healing, since the 1 drop can cuck your reanimation pool.
Like, at worst you may not run them all at 3, but I can't see them being bad in whatever new sets are coming. This isn't like Ralmia(who might get way better if they print more artifact targets for her), where you run maybe 1 copy in your deck.

I don't have the cards for it yet but from starting ranked late and playing against beginner Rune players yesterday I noticed they are definitely doing a lot of the fundamental stuff wrong. Like they play one Blaze Destroyer as soon as they can instead of saving them for a big, hard to answer board. The hardest part about this archetype has probably always been the mulligan though.

I think it's to force people to pick the leader instead of hording tickets for a class they don't play yet forever and then only picking the best leader they have and other options for the rest of their tickets.

For pack tickets, they can easily convert those into rupees if you're still holding old packs at the time that an old set is removed from the shop.

Every fucking craft in the game has half a dozen effects tied to evo somehow. Orchis is potentially a board wipe and a ward with no evolution. Sylvia has two powerful effects played naked and she's flexible on your evolution slots. Alouette progresses your game plan if you play her naked on 5 off an opponent's dead tempo turn.

Meanwhile half of Haven's cards don't advance your game state at all without evolution and they're often competing with cards that have no evolution effect at all but need to do it for tempo. Or you're playing some shit like Forest that runs evolution plays but also has to evolve for damage regularly.

Rune and Abyss are probably the only crafts more free than Portal on evolution resources and Abyss is crazy ass.

Honestly the only egregious thing in the new system I've seen is the inability to vial everything.
Outside of that limitation it doesn't feel too bad as far as base freebies go.
If we could vial everything people could build their one or two decks each set without too much trouble.
Only other change I would recommend is perhaps revert back to old liquefy values for cards.
But if they truly go FOMO on set that will leave a bitter taste in my mouth.
Might just go back to playing AI in SV1 at that point.
