Kinda but some of your old units got significant buffs so they are still good (Fire Lidica, Fceci, Dilibuff, Ruele ,BM Haste, Celine, Krau ,SSB, ML Ara) i would put Fire Lidica, BM Haste and fceci in omega broken tier SB Ara is really good but only on cleave, you'll need Aram to deal with hagsetti and Mort (which is omega broken after his buffs) for GW but outside of that i think you'll be fine in most content as you have the Rinak counter (fceci). The onlly thing that you may have trouble is with ML Arunka as you'll need to get creative and see what off meta counter comp can you build with your current units (probably ML Ara and just deal with the occasional resist until they release a counter for her) otherwise you are fine

I just found out that Laia is a vampire and I admit that I skip the lore of this game so this took me by surprise.

I am past my younger years and I have lots of responsibilities so spending a lot of time on games is difficult for me. I often have auto-battle on and so the dialogues just move forward by themselves while I’m doing something else. If I’m holding my phone I actually just manually skip the dialogues because I want to go through my dailies and close the game so I could focus on whatever else I’m working on.

I really do want to enjoy this game’s lore but with my lack of time to devote playing the game, the lore was something I decided to ignore in favor of the other aspects of the game that I really want to enjoy which are team building, finding synergies, drafting, and PvP. Lore was just something that was easy to set aside.

Plus, when I’m playing I often want to play and not watch a movie. I really wish there was a way to get immersed in the game’s lore outside of the game like an anime that I could watch when I want to watch instead of playing or a manga that I could read when I am in the mood to read books instead of playing a game.

Not really sure what I wanted out of this post, I guess I’m just letting out some frustration about my lack of lore knowledge for a game that I love to play and the lack of materials that I can consume to learn more about the lore outside of the game.

What keeps me coming back is the strong sense of progression and the constant feeling that there's always something to work toward. I absolutely love the art style, the music (with the original comfy lobby music being my favorite), the beautifully animated Skill 3s, and just the overall charm the game carries. As someone who’s a big fan of fantasy RPGs, this game really hits the mark for me.
