Is there any use to the fire armor aside from not killing yourself with the Dickle? I love everything from Freedom's Flame and the light may be one of the coolest armors in the game, but even when using the Torcher et. al. I very rarely find myself in a place where I would need it. Unless I do some niche shit and intentionally walk straight through my own Napalm or something. It's funny, I had much more a problem not being able to walk forward with a flamethrower until I went full flame.

I just hate carrying backpack weapons, I much prefer the versatility of whatever fits with the loadout if I need the mobility, CC of a dog, supply pack, etc. AC does indeed clean house on bugs, its alright on bots but I prefer harder AT, and on squids, which it should be very helpful on, somehow it just feels like total shit. Idk. I just wish the AMR had better ammo economy and I'd rarely take AC otherwise.

Plus, Portable Hellbomb is probably my favorite fucking strategem with the cool down upgrades, so fuck it.

Walking through your own flames or that of your teammates is the main reason to have fire resist, yeah. If you're roasting a bunch of enemies in one direction but then enemies show up behind you, you can just run forward through the firewall you created, dive once you're past it and suddenly you have a firewall protecting your back. You can do the same with an Incendiary Grenade.

Orbital railcannon buff is valid but orbital lasers main issue is that it doesnt have enough charges. I would say just significantly lower the cooldown of kinetic technology, and in the future when railcannon barrage is added or anything else it reduced that. So I kind of get why they want it to drain your HP forever after revive, reinforcements are the only scarcity-limited resource in a match and just letting players double up on reinforcements because they have two lives would be bullshit. You're basically a zombie that's only being kept alive by stims, so it does make sense that you would have to be continuously stimmed to not die until you get actual medical treatment. But if they're going to go this route, then I think a couple changes would be needed:

1. Have the health drain penalty expire after it lasts long enough to drain four full HP bars (e.g. the full amount of stims a player can spawn with, discounting Med Kit passive). For example, if it drains 5 HP per second, then have the penalty persist for 100 seconds (or a nice round 120 for two minutes). Once that period passes, the player "stabilizes" and no longer suffers from health drain.

2. Let the revive perk reactivate at a price. Have the armor "consume" a stim every 40 seconds, and once it consumes four stims (again, the max that a freshly spawned player can carry without Med Kit) you can get automatically revived again. If you don't have any stims when the armor attempts to consume one, then it waits 40 seconds and then tries again, repeating until successful.

Now you have a teamplay incentive with this armor. On top of the Arc resistance allowing everyone to carry and use Arc weapons with less chance of teamkilling, players can Stim Pistol each other to wait out the HP drain, or carry Supply Pack and restock stims to keep each other alive and facilitate recharging the revive perk, that sort of stuff.

I don't get the obsessive love for orbi laser. Walking barrage/380/120 I can throw without thinking and it will kill nearly everything I need it to kill on my screen.
3 minute cooldown is inconsequential and I'm actually encouraged to throw the barrages as often as they're off cooldown. Making for extremely valuable base destruction.

I took orbi laser for a few missions and it's like yeah sure it'll blow up like 3-4 fabs. But if you're unlucky or don't kill everything near the fabs it'll fuck off and just fizzle out. You have to be super mindful of what's Infront of you, and you typically only save a few minutes of work for what it will do for you.

It just feels like something you take like flag when you're just doing it for style points. That and because miku miku beam is funny.

Armor doesn't work cause you get limb broke all the time. Which is fine because +2 second stims is broken. (They'll probably buff stim pistol too).

The primary is ap2 and people will HATE it.

The plasma gun will shred for damage but have like 3 shots total before you need resupply

Arc grenades will be the arc grenade launcher but impacts.

An ammendment for your consideration.

Gotta admit, this thing is actually pretty good once you get a few weapon mods attached to it.

It doesn't have the range of an assault rifle, but at closer ranges it still does the same damage per round as the stock Lib, so as long as you control your fire it's just as good but with really good handling. It can be one-handed while you're carrying an objective item, it can shoot behind you while running away, and it's reliable enough to kill chaff with minimal effort and also bring down Alpha Commanders with repeated headshots.

Its only real flaw is that its low ROF makes it worse at mag dumping, but that's generally not something you want to do in this game anyways. And it'll probably become a real monster once you unlock the 2x scope and Drum Magazine (which gives you a bigger magazine than even the K***ht), the weight of neither which it'll really feel since it has absurdly high ergo and all this heavy gear just brings it down to assault rifle handling. Hell, I might try it out with Reinforced Epaulettes once I get it fully upgraded and bring a Ballistic Shield and melee weapon just to see how it handles.
