Yeah the more I think about this the less enthused I am. I actually advocated for limited reinforcements and limited stratagem "behind enemy lines" missions a while back and I still like the idea. But not having access to reds and greens at all doesn't actually sound like fun. It works in bug caves because you're squished into corridors and it's not the entire mission. You can also call in ammo and greens on most of the objective sites.
My idea of a commando mission would be to have a severely crunched time limit, limited capacity on all red and green strats, and reduced reinforcement budget. Get in, get out, you only have limited support but it does exist.
Guess we'll see what the swedes land on. If cave bugs weren't broken as fuck in release they were actually a lot of fun and diving on Oshaune is actually dope now. I guess I'm cautiously optimistic.
I'm glad they're experimenting with more difficult missions though.
