Kill rate is your average kills. 75% means you're at exactly 3k average. You can also do 97 (total kills) divided by 32 (total games) to find 3

killrate is the total ratio to your average kills, up to 4. If your killrate is 100% then it means every single match you have killed 4 survivors, if your killrate is 50% then it means every single match you killed 2 survivors. 75% means 3 survivors and 25% means 1 survivor.

The ability to hide behind cover with crouch and make yourself undetectable at will is already an incredibly strong combo before even factoring in insta-down

I can understand why people say Ghostface is a "bad killer" because he doesn't fit into the expected DbD gameplay loop and trying to play him like other killers won't grant success, but if you actually get into the mindset of breaking the rules of the game he gets free hits like candy with very little counterplay

With a game that is so warped around terrain it's amazing to me so many people don't understand the concept of using it to like, hide.
He has an addon that gives you 5% haste when you mark a survivor man, this killer is so free.

The best way to deal with survivors having a cracked guy on their team is to kill everyone else around him. Always has been. You can tunnel the weakest link or you can spread the pain out, as long as you're not letting yourself get baited into chasing the same guy for 5 gens.

SWF isn't the *main* issue. People talk about comms and callouts or whatever but a sufficiently competent SWF can mess things up for any killer. Ghostface's unique weakness is a competent SOLO can mess things up for him. No other killer in the game can have their entire kit denied so hard.

Generally, you can 3k with every killer if you know what you're doing, simply on the fact that your onus is solo and you don't have 3 other people who can fuck things up, so really all that matters is how good you are. Also the game is quite killer favoured, as you can make a ton of mistakes but the moment a survivor makes one you make progress. Survivors only make progress with how many seconds they can buy, and if you're good at killer that won't be many especially since killer perks directly remove survivor progression with gen regression and apply pressure with aura reveal ensuring you can basically always be in the right place.

There are many ways you can deal with this, number one is pressing crouch, there goes line of sight. Channel your inner survivoid and literally lose him, which should be easy because you can hide your stain and aura. I'd like to remind you that this game was initially designed around M1 killers, and even in worst case scenario of one guy stalking you back, you CAN just kill him instead, assuming you're not bad at spend 3 minutes getting looped at shack.

People really sleep on how strong undetectable is. Especially when the majority of players are solo and there's no direct counterplay since it blocks aura also and you don't even get any sort of warning that your aura reading is currently being blocked.

It's fine for Ghostface since that is his power but I really think undetectable is busted if you can put it on a ranged or mobility killer.

When I play survivor, I'm not the best looper, but I play on lower volume, with music have a laugh. About a 50/50 chance for my escape.
When I play killer I turn up the volume, no other sounds and have to concentrate on everything since it's much more stressful. Though a bit easier when I compare my success rate with both.

If I was in charge of doing it I would do 16m bond (green bond) for solo and kindred without the killer aura reading for everyone then give everyone tenacity movement and recovery speed and unbreakable. That's a fair point about the sound reduction with tenacity but I do think survivors should be able to move faster and recover faster if the killer just doesn't pick them up. If they have to nerf flip flop/power struggle to compensate that's fine.

Quieter footsteps on a stealth killer lead to quicker first hits, which leads to quicker downs. Regardless of how much later they're noticed, every single second matters. In springtrap's case, his default steps make a loud mechanical clanking that clearly informs you of his presence from a distance. The glitchtrap skin, being a program or whatever and not a mechanical suit, does not make the loud fuck robot noises. The price does not matter. Ghoul makes survivoids seethe to no end

Survivors always have a headstart unless you are a 5 star mobility killer, and I think that's one of the main issues with the balance of the game. I don't know how you fix that without base corrupt which might give killers too much of a headstart. But even when running corrupt you can have instances where they still just have gained more ground than you way more quickly if three of them found a gen quick enough. It really is just a problem that the survivor objective is astronomically faster when there are 4 of them alive, and at the end of the day you can only pressure one of them at a time off of their objective while progressing yours. They punish tunnelling hard enough that it's not really viable, but at the same time getting someone out is like the only way to even out the speed of both team's objectives, like it's balanced around someone dying super quick, and I think that's the case because they balance around new survivor experience. It would suck to just make gens take longer and make the game that much slower for survivors but the game balance is really in a pickle.
