Nameless gods and nameless priests are relatively a mystery, the story hasn't dived very deep into the ancient civilization, the ruins, and the priests yet.
They should be getting into it soon since Volume EX deals with The Ruins, and Alice is now playing a key role in the story. So at least something will probably be revealed.
