The quests in general have been pretty shit for me, not sure if it's a hardcore wipe thing but all the "find x in raid" quests have been insanely specific. Like they'll ask me to hunt down some super obscure weapon parts for mediocre rewards.

My theory is that every person has their own RNG chart. Some players have better odds on different items. One player may have a slightly higher chance on a rare item and less on a different rare item. Some items I think are flagged with certain number of raids barrier before they enter your (or others youre playing that raid with) loot pool again. Would create incentive to trade, play with others, scav more, and artificially create elation through struggle while ensuring general "pacing" of the wipe. I would assume it could be proven if anyone here has reset their account and noticed different loot? I got no clue

Like I started pve right before the hardcore wipe, and in about 20 key uses of the terragroup armory on streets, I only found ammo in the weapon racks. Not a single time was an ammo box outside of those ammo racks.
One day there was no ammo on the racks, it's not littered on top of the weapon crates instead. And that has been the case for another ~40 uses in a row.
Clearly something changed, but why? There was no patch. Why would they move the ammo spawns?
And I've noticed loads of things like that. One day you find 5 of the same item in the same spot, and then you never see it again for the rest of the wipe.

Man there was a short period of the hardcore wipe that was super fun early on, but now it's just a normal wipe. They should have just stuck with these rules:

>regular buy/sell prices to traders
>keep secure container changes
>keep the original map transit idea, but allow customs, woods, and GZ as the starter maps.

>no transfer of arena gear/rubles
>trader levels time locked

Trader level locking is an ok idea that I'm like 80% on board with, it just feels like there's a better way to do it but I can't think of the alternative either. They could have made this wipe waaaay more interesting than it turned out to be, but I still give props to them for trying.

no flea makes certain tasks a nightmare but the obvious choice here is to just add a barter for those items. ll3 prapor gets a valday + ak12 suppressor barter. Jaeger 1 gets the ushanka + scav vest barter, Ragman gets a bomber beanie barter etc.
