tried out battlecup, our team (1 divine 4 guardians) was matched against a full divine team, the difference on lane and macro wise was like night and day, their draft complimented each other, they were extremely methodic in their playstyle, instantly grouped together early and smoked us out, left us no map to work with. i assume they play with each other often but theyre pretty much playing a different game than me. when i read higher ranks here complain about their soloqueue games I can't imagine that it's true and they must actually have it good

In my games, griefers are always, 100% of times, the supports.
It's always the support who dies 4 times in the first 6 minutes the one who goes and run down mid/goes jungle afk, tps mid to steal farm.
So fucking tired of these fags, I get one of these niggers 1 out every 10 games now with my 12k good boy points.

Yeah that's pretty much the build, I've used that core in like 90% of my 1,000+ Willow games. Force is also very good on her instead of octameme
Willow needs a lot of practice, but she heavily rewards learning good timing, good aiming, and above all good judgement. Knowing who and when you can get away with solo killing makes all the difference on her. She's good at going aggro and doing risky dewarding like you say, but you still have to exercise some caution without your team because of how squishy she is. She can offer very good value from long range in teamfights too, don't forget - brambles, crown and terrorize are all strong tools for counter-initiation (and initiation to some extent) so she can punish HARD if the enemy team misjudges
Having said that, she's pretty bad against tanky heroes and especially against dispels. I'm not playing a lot atm, but if the meta features either of those things heavily, she'll suffer and be sad

Usually no, but it's decent to make you slightly less susceptible to dispels. Manta buyers won't often get tripped up by the dispel brambles because their illusions will usually hit them first, but it'll work against dispels like aba's or LC's to ensure you get at least a little value out of the spell.
If they're using dispels like that, generally my play is to be more aggressive on the backline instead. Try and get brambles behind their frontliner, and be ready to blink forward and fear the backline supps as soon as a fight starts. Even if you die because you've gone forward into a suicide zone, it's often worth it just to keep their dispelling support away so their carry/tank can die

I understand this, but you're only gonna get 1 vortex out in a fight, maybe 2. I don't get aghs until very late in the game if at all so this might impact my take. And it's just +0.2s. Unless you have Aghs and catch 2 or more it feels not worth it.

Doesn't even seem to be true from the replays I watched. Anyways they shouldn't have multiple support items that fast.
I play on mid lane, so I only very very rarely lane against some of the usual supports like Silencer, but when I do I am amazed how they're more annoying to lane against than Huskar.
At least Huskar is more limited by his range and because of the design of the hero and his role, you don't feel bad as much about just collecting XP.
Why does Silencer take my entire HP away with 2 spells and oppress a core? I don't care what stage of the game I'm in. Supports should be what their name suggests.
I don't play unranked usually, but one time I warmed up as Sven since I didn't play for a few days, again, support Silencer just completely zoned me out. I had a salve ready because I anticipated it, but then he just did it again and a support made me leave the lane. Lol.

It's sad, before you ran out of mana after casting 1-2 spells, which is why as a support you couldn't really be a "core" as you had no way to farm.
Now you have a hundreds ways to gain mana regen without even buying mana items. So as a CM it was impossible to get any real farm except for using frostbite once or so on a jungle creep.
The CM aura was also really really good despite only giving like 1-2 mana regen, now that is NOTHING.

Doing the 3rd option while your team is going enemy Triangle/T2 is literally griefing, even if you're pinging you have Boots of Travel.

You generally want a farming pattern: creepwave => nearby camps (safelane ancients for example) => repeat
Safelane carries switch to playing Triangle often later in the game, because it's safer.

Here are my thoughts:

• Impale is good and it should dictate how you play early game. You should be in the lane spamming knives. That way you should be able to come out on top when poking.
It's also good late game because it scales with max health and it's good for vision.

• The box is a big disappointment because of the tiny range. It's still of course important to use, but don't sweat it. It's not Relocate, it's not Astral Prison, it's not Disruption, it's not Shallow Grave, it rarely saves a life.

• The stupid whip should be maxed after the knives as an extra nuke.
The box is mediocre anyway, you're not losing much by leaving it at level 1 or maybe 2.
The stupid whip is a stupid fucking spell but it's good for killing neutrals and waves. You can be a rich support!

• The ult is an amazing display of utter mediocrity. Throw it with abandon at the enemy for zoning, don't "wait for the perfect moment", it's not Black Hole or Ravage, imagine it's a worse version of Vacuum.

• Get an Aghanim's shard so you have an interesting teamfight spell. Congrats! Now you're almost useful!

• I prefer the Unicycle facet, because the extra scan is very good and the knockback pie is ok. Plus it's stuff you can use out of combat to cycle. The other spells with the duplicate and the tonic and the jump seem better but in practice those buttons are not worth pressing in a teamfight, you have more important stuff to do.

In conclusion, you're a mediocre support who is good at laning, and you have an extra scan.
Not the worst thing in the world, the ultimate 6/10.
