Kuro 2 act 3 structure kinda reminded of Raging Loop VN i've played years ago. I think the biggest difference is there's no tension in kuro 2 at all. Man they really upped Estelle's utility in the remake. Joshua's better too but Estelle's combat kit feels like a massive improvement over her FC self's, to say nothing of how you're getting way more money and Quartz on average. A simple Morale-boosted Hurricane keeps one-shotting things with the side-attack bonus, and if it doesn't it's usually enough to put them in follow-up range for Joshua.

I say all of this as a good thing though, this is fun.

I played the original 4 times (PSP, PS3, PC, PS VITA), but I dropped the demo of the remake after a few hours.

This is the type of demo that sells a game. I wasn't going to buy this because I had just played the original version about two years ago(felt too soon for me) but it runs like a dream and it looks really nice, too. Don't think I've dropped a single frame yet, I've been at my monitor's cap of 165fps the entire time in UW 3440x1440.
