I watch my friends play in lower ranks sometimes to give them advice and one of the the two worst things I see people doing in low ranks that leads to this is moving around the map poorly and fighting nonstop. When you are in a lane with other people all of you are sharing the souls and its split inefficiently. If you are all in one lane with open lanes you are throwing souls away. Don't stack up as 4-6 too often unless it's to take an objective. Stop doing random dumb fights in the jungle over nothing.

As fore the map movement, stop moving around the map too much. If you aren't in a lane you aren't getting a lot of souls. If you are moving around the map make sure you actually get boxes and clear small camps as you pass them (which you should be able to do on most characters though some can't don't waste 30 sec clearing a small camp slowly). Also stop going back to base to buy. Buy from the mid shops. Don't use the zipline much at all really other than if you have boost or after you respawn. Without boost they will never get you anywhere faster than just using vents and map movement and if you're on the zipline you can't be clearing camps and boxes so even if it takes the same amount of time, running there would have been better.

Seven has a 55 percent winrate in every bracket but he's also the only hero with such a winrate at higher ranks whose winrate does not go down as rank goes down. This actually implies the other poster is somewhat correct, part of his winrate is likely ease of play. Meanwhile someone like Moe/Krill, Lash or Warden is sub 55 in low ranks but then equal with Seven in higher ranks. This shows they are likely actually similar in usefulness to Seven but harder to use. If you're going to whine about Seven but not these other characters then again, you are either not understanding the data or lying to yourself. On top of that having a winrate differential of only about 9 percent between the highest and lowest winrates is actually really impressive for a game this complicated. Go check out LoLs winrates by comparison.

For any new-friends and returners who perhaps are not aware; when you get a Sinner's Sacrifice machine to low health a minigame begins where the lights on top of the machine will light up from left-to-right.
If you finish the machine off with a heavy attack when all of the lights are illuminated, you hit the Jackpot and will receive FOUR random Golden Statue stat buffs as a reward, you can do this with every machine you find to get a lot more stat buffs than usual, and you can get the same stat multiple times from each Jackpot potentially leading to unexpected spikes in Spirit Power or Weapon Damage.
To guarantee that you hit the Jackpot, start your heavy attack when all but the last two of the lights are lit up like in this pic.
If you use a light attack to hit the Jackpot you will only get 1 Golden Statue buff, so practice the timing for it on the practice range to ensure you always use a heavy attack to get the Jackpot bonus.

Okay, I wasn't convinced at first but I did some testing and Tankbuster is definitely worth it, I tested a "controlled" environment where lash and 3 enemies with different health values were all at 9k~ soul level, I gave lash some starting improved spirit and then tested with 4800 investment (no bonus spirit besides from improved and the investment) then tested surge of power, which in theory gives you the most spirit power on a specific ability for the T3 price THEN I tested tankbuster. Tankbuster actually ended up giving MORE damage than SoP vs Infernus (very average health character) but when I tested it against a M&K who had 41% spirit resist it did 85% extra damage compared to SoP

Went up against an Ivy fag who said it's their main. The would rush cultist and then follow that up with Trophy. They avoided all fights they could unless they had ultimate up to drop a bomb and then they basically 99% farmed neutrals. They had 200% more farm than anyone in the game. Their entire contribution to a fight was alchemical fire and kudzu and nothing else. They'd even focus on last hitting in fight. Nothing else. The game ended with most people having 30-40k souls but this Ivy had 70k souls.

They literally stole all their teams neutral farm and I watched the game. They'd throw 1 kudzu and that was a cleared neutral camp each time. No effort required.

Heavily depends, I've been at this for a while but nowadays I mostly do mods for Virt-A-Mate which is like honey select/koikatsu but ten times better, more advanced and with more freedom.
It's also VR so you can have your waifu in a 50 different pose/animation fuck-a-thon with whatever outfits you wanna use with her while also using their voice which reacts to the action, all in VR (but also usable without).


Mods for this means doing a full custom character setup so you're doing the whole nine yards; sculpting/modelling, rigging, physics, texturing, posing, etc.
At times it's just a port of someone's existing model but I rarely do that because they're often lower quality.
Sometimes I do a lot of adjustments and sculpting with fixed/improved textures to existing stuff.
Sometimes I do the model from "scratch", since I'm approximating a existing character I rip the model myself, I approximate a genesis model to it by warping it and sculpting/fixing all the details myself with custom textures and geometry, or smaller stuff like finishing incomplete geometry or make a rig for them and the hair, etc.
Normal base models usually don't have naked bodies under their clothes, you have to do that yourself through custom bodies, this means they also have incomplete textures, the existing clothes only have the front of a shirt or dress, etc.
If you're a gooner I'd heavily recommend virt-a-mate tho.

I'm a new player too but I got like 15 hours now.

1. The game is very spastic, mobility out the wazoo everywhere, also enemies pulling you around, varying head hitboxes, a trillion corners and nooks everywhere makes it very hard to aim compared to FPS games.
2. Coupled with low damage guns the gunplay feels kinda unsatisfying.
