So I've been progressing the SIVA quest on Jolder that just unlocked today and it's both sad and hilarious that they've been completely avoiding mentioning SIVA directly, instead they just call them nanobots that behave exactly like SIVA does but they aren't going further.

Gunplay is a bit more clunky and feels more like what I have seen in Destiny 1 videos (didn't play D1 myself). There is no special ammo, all D1-D2 specials are reassigned to primaries or heavies. You carry 1 primary and 1 heavy weapon, with archetypes strictly locked to characters (your starting character, Wolf, uses auto rifles and heavy GLs, Ikora have a breechloaded primary GL and a rocket launcher, etc., some Chinese melee guy uses regular fusions as primary and shotguns as heavy). Guns feel satisfying, even before you unlock weapon mods. The reload speed is meh, though.

Abilities are divided into Signatures (2 abilities that use the grenade/melee slots but are not equivalents to D1-D2 grenade and melee) and Super. They all regen much faster than in D2, and always have neat combos that THE GAME TEACHES YOU IN EVERY CHARACTER'S TRAINING LESSON TAB THAT YOU CAN REPLAY IF YOU WANT, BUNGIE FFS. Abilities are fun, and the game doesn't try do force any sort of balance on you beyond pvp/gambit, like, Wolf has a solar sword lunge as his melee, and if it kills anything, this skill's additional effect returns the whole charge for free immediately, so you can spam it to purge a whole room of red bars if you want. They are fun and well made, investing resources into anything, including skills and abilities, shows you exact numbers for before/after, and the progress is noticeable once you go back into the field.

It sucked the last time, it sucks now. Controls are bad, especially if you are in a tank. Event XP can only be obtained in the event PvP matches. The rewards are weird, only the combat sparrow has any relation to the whole vehicle combat shtick, and if you already have it, then it's golfball for you. You can't even use this sparrow in the event, it has only prescripted tanks and brigs on the same single map as it was the last time. The new shotgun and the wave sword may be fine on their own, but they don't have anything to do with the event theme at all. It's just not good.

But I was reading comments about Destiny Rising is shit because its overcomplicated with too many currencies. And it does have too many standars mobile game stuff but like I can tell what I need to do?

Is there a trick to getting the "real game" because I've never felt so brainlet in all my life?

I can tolerate doing 4-5 heavy metal matches at max but I'm tired of this game. It feels like work.
