Striker already has the ability to break boards reasonably well which is a big part of why Striker Tenpai exists. The issue with pure Striker in MD is that modern decks set up a ton of followup so when you barely break through their board they're easily able to deal with the set Widow Anchor+Shark Cannon+Raye in GY.
The new stuff lets them both set up more interruption to deal with the followup turn and more recursion for themselves beyond just relying on the opponent letting you use Raye's GY effect to add back Engage on their turn.

Also this card+MST has become standard in the OCG. Obviously any bonus draw power given to Sky Strikers is a big deal since I'm sure we've all had situations where you have them down to one card and suddenly they go Talents draw 2>Upstart>Engage>Engage>Upstart>Engage>Kagari>Engage

For quick plays only. The only non-Magnifistorm decks that can justify it are Sky Striker and Runick. And Sky Striker only really wants to use it because it gets more spells in GY and because of how card draw spirals out of control in that deck.
Cards like Allure or Trade In just aren't very good in general without some special synergy with your deck.
And aiming to discard your whole hand isn't generally something you actually want to do.

Because this deck is bricky as all fuck, 90% of my hands consist of 4 handtraps and a single starter, which gets handtrapped, leaving me with no other choice than to pass turn. The few times i happen to also draw TTT, i end up drawing into more fucking useless handtraps anyway. I literally can't even go bagooska pass because fuwalos almost never fucking appears in my hand, and when he does it's with the one ryzeal name that needs specifically another ryzeal on field/GY. Tenpai at """full""" power somehow felt less bricky.

iirc, you start with 10k-ish gems, and you get ~8k gems per month from daily+event+ranked
so after just a month, with average luck, you should be able to hard craft almost a full deck worth of SRs (36 cards)

Let's not pretend Prediction Princess is some popular deck that is seeing large amounts of experimentation by skilled players who are able to come to a consensus on these things. Asking a deck to run the standard Fiendsmith extra deck cards, and the three additional ED cards they'd need to make Broadbull to then still have to have things to make with the Millennium cards is a big ask.
The Millennium cards will continue to be very strong as long as there are decks that can efficiently use all the material they provide. They didn't suddenly go down in card quality because the newest decks don't mesh well with them.

You can't pretend like extra deck extenders aren't powerful. They obviously are. There are definitely decks that would want to turn 2 level 4s into the 4 bodies you could get from Millennium considering how good all the Millennium main deck cards are. It's just that none of them are relevant for now. Like look at how Fire King Snake Eye was top tier running the Springans package in the Xyz cup for that reason. They'd gladly would've traded it to run Millennium cards over those bricks.

It'd probably be fine in MD specifically if you don't mind more material spam slop piles, because MD has 8 months of forewarning before a good deck comes out so they could ban it in anticipation should a good deck come out that synergizes with it, but they'd probably just leave it legal regardless.

Konami tricked me into creating an alt account for the branded deck. I created the account with the code, got some gems from begginer missions and solo play, opened a shit ton of packs and now I have a decent deck.
It is a fun deck in theory, lots of support to brew with, lots of lines of play, fun shenanigans with recursion and delayed effects. But I don't know, I don't know, something feels off to me. I'm already thinking about dismantling it all and building some jank cheap deckson this account.
