Well FUCK.
I went back there to farm Death Ends but now I need help:
I maxed all the ATK upgrades, but the difference between the 1st dungeon to the 2nd in difficulty is pretty big. Those HP and DEF upgrades are seducing me BUT people said I should avoid stuff that helps me live because they make Death End farming harder.
Can anyone give me an opinion in this?

The HP and DEF you can get if you want, it's important to note that if you hit 100% corruption your character will automatically die, so just walk over everything during fights that corrupt/damage you. When I did NG+, if I did a boss that has a death end scene I'd deploy just one unit then corrupt myself to death to get the events. The only time you can't do this is the prologue tutorial battle scene where you have to be defeated. If you want that, start a new game on Hard and let the enemies kill you. Save, and when you reload your normal file you'll get the event reward because the game system saves everything.

Alright. Any tips for further Death Ends. Apparently all enemeis have an extra scene if I get killed at 0 Sanity, but it's hard to time that (specially because 0 Sanity also causes self-damage so sometimes that is what kills me instead of the enemy).
Furthermore apparently I need to die together with Shina due to an AoE trap. So I assume if I get DEF or HP up I may screw myself from that.

Perhaps you might stop short of 100%, but the first three worlds' Hero and Demon Lord pairs in Mugen Souls (Soul and Sandy, Tsukika and Shirogane, and Alys and Elka) are all very obviously shipped with each other and this becomes increasingly apparent when you view the sub-events involving them, to the point I'd say they're all but canon.

They're solid dungeon crawlers. They do tend to be on the easy side, so I recommend playing on Fear (and I say this as a rookie to the genre). The main draw, as with most Compa games, is of course the setting and characters, and I'd say they knocked it out of the park with Mary Skelter, as it's easily their best effort that isn't Neptunia so far. You'd be surprised how well they use the fairy tale motifs. Especially when it comes to Otsuu and Little Mermaid. EVERYTHING about them makes so much more sense once you realize what fairy tale they (or rather, mainly Otsuu) is based on.

Ai chan's are my preferred type, if they were a little shorter they would be perfect. Kazama Asuka's are right up my alley as well. Rebecca Chambers in her STARS uniform has a good pair too. Boots like these are my favourite but so long as they are not high heels I am fine with most. Laces are preferred but not mandatory. Noire's are good now but the heels were far too high on her 2010 model.

There is no happy medium, middle ground or in-between.

Some of the English dub cast is actually very good in terms of dub quality, mainly in part due to the recording studio behind the cast selection and direction (thank Bang Zoom Entertainment for that). There's some really great English VAs for Neptunia; Nepgear, Uni, Neptune, the first Vert, Compa, even Blanc sticks to her role.

But there's also been some really terrible VAs, first and foremost being Rom , who is also the current Vert. I have ranted on and on about that bitch way too many times here to count but she's a cunt and doesn't deserve her job as a VA. She plays favorites and only gives her best on popular IPs or gigs that paid her a ton of money. Cunts like that need to be exiled from the industry. I also used to like both of Noire's English VAs until

>second (and current) one is still new-ish to the role and is very inconsistent

All of the other characters, while the voices may be good, are still wildly inconsistent and don't care about their roles. Ram's English VA in Neptunia VII's bonus voices called herself Rom, wasn't even aware of her mistake, but I guess the director, the audio crew and the localization staff wasn't either because they fucking left it in the game. And IFI wonders why I pirate their shit now, because this is what I'm paying for.

You can't trust the localized script, either, because it's been demonstrated several times in the past that it's not a faithful translation for Neptunia games. Unless you know Japanese or only play certain games with English voices, you will never be satisfied.

Unfortunately for me it is quite an unpopular fetish and since I hate high heels there is not much out there for me. Not got the patience to learn how to draw (well) either unfortunately.

NTA, but I would say it's a solid game but the issue is it hardly feels like a crossover (and that's largely because Ninja Nep wasn't meant to be one and only pivoted into one mid-development). The roster is extremely basic with only the main 4 CPUs/Team Leaders along with gender-bent G'oh from Stein's Gate (I think) and the OC cat girl Yuki. Plus as I mentioned earlier, it doesn't have enough depth to the combat or even unique interactions between the neps and senrans like Deep Crimson had. And hilariously, DC has more characters to boot at 14 to Ninja Wars' 10.

Well, the combat is pretty solid (especially for a Nep game). But the main thing is that some of us were dreaming about how cool a Nep X Senran collab would be. I personally thought it would have been something akin to Project X Zone where you have a main unit of 2 characters and an assist unit which you can put any assist unit on any main unit. One of the things that carried Project X Zone was the different interactions between all these characters from different universes and franchises (especially since the latter half really drags on thanks to all the HP sponges).

But back to Nep X Senran. Imagine all the neat interactions we could have gotten like Blanc and Mirai given Murasaki the evil eye in the intro but Murasaki being a huge fan of Blanc and Mirai's work (she's already the latter as confirmed by SV).
