Especially if that spending involves 2+ copies of a character and 2+ copies of a weapon to boot. That's 3-4 characters' worth of pulls on 1 winmore you probably don't even get a benefit from.
And the funniest part?
You could just wait on a rerun, make sure you hit your important targets, before bankrupting your account and then crying you missed Summer Motoha in a few weeks.

Because in most of these games, the character begins at 0 in some kind of ascension status.
In FGO, they start at NP1, there's no such thing as NP0 thus FGO does not have a 0 label for character ownership.
The same way Genshin and HSR weapon items go 1-5 and thus start at 1 for ownership, and 0 is used to denote a lack of weapon ownership, with the C0/E0/etc being considered too vague on whether one owns a weapon or not.

To me, all 3 so far are just... adjacently rehashed P5 stuff. Except only Riko so far is so fucking boring and unemotive of a character that I'm actually annoyed by her screentime.
Sure Makoto Sue wank was obnoxious, also the Queen codename is shit and confusing with a separate Empress tarot to boot, but at least she has her punching bag moments.
Riko's just there, nobody pays her any mind, and her demeanor just doesn't change with anyone.

The "breaking into someone's computer to steal files" thing being repeated with Riko is a microcosm of how much less interesting she is than Makoto, which is quite an accomplishment. When Makoto did it, she was put up to it by the rest of the gang rather than coming up with the idea herself, then when she actually does the thing she shows signs of anxiety the whole time and seems to be unsure of if she's even doing it right because Futaba is the tech-y one, not her. The bit where she's nervously looking over her shoulder trying to keep Sae at bay for just a little longer is one of the more memorable gags in the story.

Contrast that with Riko who, off screen btw, completely independently comes up with le epic hackermans plan with no help from the drooling retards in the rest of the cast, then like she's in fucking Oceans 11 perfectly executes it without breaking a sweat. And just to top it off, later on when the gang asks her to produce Akashi's employee id/password (which, btw, was like 11 digits or something? easily more than the number of digits most humans can memorize short-term, let alone recall hours later), OBVIOUSLY she rattles that shit off without any issue while Shun's retarded ass has to produce a notepad to write it down like a chimpanzee.

Riko a shit so far. She's like ultra Makoto, I didn't know you could mary sue a character harder than Makoto but so far they're nailing it.

The first chapter wasn’t even written poorly. Kiuchi had a clear backstory and valid reasons for changing, and these were conveyed well through character dialogue and the flashbacks in his Palace. The problem is that his characterization leaned too heavily into being cartoonish, which makes it hard to take him seriously. As a result, most people just see him as a meme rather than a compelling antagonist.
Chapter 2 was horrendous though.
