and im going back through and trying to collect some of the mog sets, but wowheads descriptions are labarynthine and confusing, and i dont have any personal experience with all of these systems to know where to go or what to do to unlock them.

I haven't seen the model's UVs, but my guess is it's not the standard layout all the other models that are able to don "player armor" have.

There's multiple issues here though that aren't pedantic and unfounded, the mode is fundamentally broken its not small nitpicks but the entire core of the event that doesn't work and they also bait and switched people, remix has specific connotations now this event is nothing like the previous, if they only want to use this as a way to get people to test out heroic world tier then they should have named it something difference, its undeniable they want people to join for the remix name

I think Blizz could def make something interesting like the DISC belt since they have Delves now. Start us out in Delves (high end players have to do them week 1 anyway), make it MAX a few weeks to get the max of the item and let people earn it by just doing content. Give us some borrowed power type thing (since they're doing it again anyway) but put it in its own slot and call it something neat. Add appearances, let us scale the item, give us choices (like the belt).

I played GW2 and in my experience the issue and where the devs went wrong is that due to the way stats worked was your character had to be a glass cannon or it was shit, so every one was a glass cannon. As a glass cannon you couldn't even be in melee most of the time without instantly getting downed so being ranged and safe was the optimal way to play out in the world.
If shit was balanced better so not every one was a glass cannon that died instantly and could still be functional and effective in solo world play, then it should be alright.

In a general sense it was definitely fun that you were reliant on yourself and with clear readable mechanics intended for you to dodge. WoW would benefit from that.

healer players are progressively becoming worse at the game because of how low agency they are. If you join any heroic raid group nowadays you will have 2 healers who basically cannot heal (genuine non-elitest when i say "cannot heal"). Now it would be perfectly fine in the current game because of how loot works with like 16 levels and breakpoints. But no, each boss being different types and all having Fel Corruption that not only hurts everything, but buffs the team behind them, there is definitely no singular team you can use. Just some reliables to mix in with them.
The pets I kept on hand the most were Ikky, Murkastrasza and Ysergle. Ikky for the damage, the two Murloc Dragons for the stall tactics with heals (sometimes team wide) and damage reductions to wait out the Fel Corruption buff.
Ikky comes from mid-way through the Spires of Arak campaign, easy to get, highly recommended for his damage.
Murlocs obviously bought, I don't know if there's a good alternative to Murkastrasza, but the Dream Whelpling from the end of the Emerald Nightmare raid has the same abilities I was using with Ysergle (Bite, Presence and Dream), would heavily recommend that for several fights.
