When its overcharged, you can only hipfire it, its recoil gets increased 100% and it fires shots similar to Thunderlord. I sometimes feel like Concord never existed because it just makes less sense the more I learned about it and kept hearing about internal things , like an elaborate bait troll joke or something, stranger than fiction and all that. Borderlands 2 is what many say was the best, though Borderlands 3 improved on the gameplay vastly while having an absolute shit story (couple dlc storys were decent).
BL: The PreSequel was okay, nothing special imo
Tiny Tinas was a side game improved further on the gameplay imo, and had a fun story imo, but many disliked it cause no endgame.

overall, Borderlands 4 is a new entry for newcomers it seems, and they look to have greatly fixed their mistakes from Borderlands 3.
i'd honestly say if you like super fun gameplay/gunplay with millennial humor (hit or miss but honestly it always makes me laugh) and a decent story (looks to be that way).
you get to choose between 4 characters and play 4-player co op if you want.

in my opinion, Destiny and Borderlands share many similarities, especially with 4 having not-sparrows, so if you like Destiny gameplay/gunplay, you'll like Borderlands

it's not a very deep story, the basic premise is theirs a vault on this planet Pandora, and there are Vault Hunters that are looking to get it's treasure, so they band together and go look for it, along the way running into people trying to stop them and other hunters in the wasteland of Pandora.

the group changes from game to game, with new vaults uncovered and such, so Borderlands 4 is taking us to a new planet with a new vault with a new group of characters, and they will probably fill you in on the story so far.
