Theory crafting on just why lightborn mindbreaks some survivorfags so badly I've think I've figured it out.
The fags that seethe about it can be broken down into two general groups:
A) The wanna-be tiktok faggot/bullysquad player. These people either are obsessed with "le heckin epic" flashlight save clips and thinks people watch their 4 subscriber youtube shorts, or they play exclusively in a 4 man that all run some combination of the cancer perks. Either way this type of person gets massively triggered by someone using a perk that counters their fun.
B) Survivors with giant egos. Since lightborn basically exists to counter one item and one perk, since the blastmine still stuns the killer even with lightborn on, any killer running it is effectively playing with just three perks, thus handicapping themselves. As such losing to a killer that they see as intentionally weakening themselves ends up bruising the egos of the most fragile of survivor players.

I still dont understand why killer ques are so long.
Nothing in the game has really changed that much to be killer sided.
I can only guess its just a few survivors getting bored and quitting. And the amplifying effect of needing 4 survivors to every 1 killer means that if the numbers are even remotely even, then the killer ques will be 4 times as bad.

when you're running, you can only do the "throw behind" pallet toss animation
back in the day you could trigger the pallet toss from that front position and it would instantly warp you to the other side while tossing the pallet. so the safety area offered by a pallet was fucking massive.
this is the consequence of patching that out, you must be on the far half of a pallet to throw it while running.
if you want to throw the pallet on your side without having to turn around, let go of shift. gives you the smoother "throw in front" animation. it's something you should get used to, as it's very applicable in chases to run past a pallet, turn around, let go of shift, and slam it in the killer's face

in terms of split-second or lag-vulnerable stuff, it overwhelmingly favors the killer (with good reason, at least within normal ping contexts), so it's not much of an oddity to favor it here
but also, disregarding that, i gotta stress the alternative. if you could drop a pallet same-side while running, you'd do that shit on accident trying to drop it on the far (safe) side. you're running at the pallet, you hit space, but it's too soon and you drop it on your side and then you get hit.
if you're hovering the safe side of the pallet, waiting for the killer to come to drop it, it can be a little frustrating to have to start to run away from the pallet to be able to drop it if you don't let go of run, sure. but it's because of the aforementioned situation that it has to be this way. the only practical solution is to tie it to movement speed to determine what kind of pallet drop you get, but that itself would have its own kind of jank
plus getting comfortable walking/letting go of sprint in a chase is a good habit to have anyways. lets you recover exhaustion and prevents you from overreacting if the killer is trying to mindgame an open tile

you can change the sensitivty scale in the "AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\input.ini" file
two of the AxisMappings will refer to LookUp and Turn bound to MouseY and MouseX respectively. changing the Scale value lets you get better control over your sensitivity.
what you can do is multiply your sensitivity (so instead of 2.5@1600dpi, you plug in 4 times that, 10@1600dpi)
and then change the scale to the inverse of whatever you multiplied it by.
so in this case you'd want to set the scale to 1/4, or 0.25. note that the vertical scale must be negative (so -0.25) otherwise it'll invert
and then set the in-game sens to what the converter says (15% with these numbers)
this still has a pretty sizeable discrepancy of 7%. i'd just live with it but you can try doing 8x (20@1600dpi), setting the scale to 1/8 (0.125), and setting the in-game to 45%

I like how killeroids don't define tiers at all then make a 12 tiered list when every killer is within a margin of 10-13% between the strongest and weakest.

I'm just gonna say it but Forgotten ruins is Skull Merchant's best map, slapping drones right next to portal exits is so stupid it should be cheating. Just use batteries not included and you'll be racking up easy 10% hastes too which is always nice. I just wish I was better at drone placement when it comes to stuff like the Garden of Joy upper house window by the generator, anti-hostage tech really is a fun thing to learn about.

Sounds too based to be true, would be the patch 6.1.0 of killer balance with shaking up the meta.
