Left wants companies to do their job and make games, not services. Singleplayer game tied to online? Not allowed anymore. Online game shut down just so the company can make you buy next year's version? Not allowed anymore. Game you liked that a soulless corporation turned off because it wasn't making $101,000 a month? Not allowed anymore. Games must have end of life policies in place to continue letting players play the game they bought.
The right (and shitters in this thread) want the status quo. They want companies to own your 'product' and hold licenses over your head. They like it and want it to continue.
