Based on the Defense and Anomaly gauge buffs leaked, coupled with HP inflation. Its a double whammy. If you run attackers on pen to offset the new defense your damage potential goes down so you can't deal with the inflated enemy HP. Same with the anomaly bar getting bigger.

These are simple numerical changes, not mechanics/gameplay changes. This can only be offset by more numbers.

WOW seed's story was good. I can see why they made orphie the second banner on her own msq patch. Some of the seed/flower theming was a little on the nose, and I think they were too harsh towards the villain, but those are very minor complaints. I think my favorite scene was when belle and wise related to seed's fears by bringing up their teacher; it was an actually organic way of having the player characters connect, as opposed to the usual "you hung out with us and helped us out a little, have my children proxy". It's probably the best side story they've made yet, though I think I prefer harumasa's over this one.

As for Mihoyo not wanting A-Rank clears, you're probably right in that there is incentive to keep the game mode numerically fucked for A-Rank only. where as the zzz moon looks more like it's only based on the real world moon. new craters could be explained with in-lore asteroid impacts, but it looks to me like some craters are just straight up missing

i don't play star rail, but if hoyo were to cross some worlds, i suspect a cross with star rail would be more likely than genshin, if the moon is any indicator (even though the genshin gameplay mechanics are very similar to zzz anomaly mechanics)
