i've started ulting at ground level to secure 1 off kills in lane when enemies are playing passively
it throws people off guard a lot since they're so used to minas that just fly in the air and can take cover under bridge
building lifesteal on her is a waste when you have so much sustain on her 1 when you can be dumping spirit into her for rake/bat damage
her ult's cooldown feels really low for the damage and especially silence you get on it for free
feels like an "anti-jungle" in the midgame that can very easily solo retarded powerfarming haze/infernus inside enemy camps being actively cleared and can quickly get out to other stuff on the map
her squishiness doesn't matter once you get comfortable with her since you're dodging and canceling a lot of shit with her 2, including knockdown and any other stuns out there

It is a noob trap in the sense that it's a complete waste of money if you're not getting stacks. But if you are, it can be great. It's especially good on supports because assists are evidently easier to get than kills, and the stats it gives benefit supports a lot (HP, movespeed so you can be more active across the map and ability range). there's exactly one time when you should buy it: you're playing an extremely high basekit mobility character in a support role that can rack up assists very quickly and benefits from both the speed to escape and the spirit
if i'm playing stake vindicta and win my lane very early, i shove to walker, tell my lanemate to take camps, force buy it before anything else, and go help other lanes
i haven't found another hero where delaying your items on the off chance of a payoff is worth it, since vindicta benefits a lot from the speed and you're not the one mainly doing damage anyway and instead just applying slow/fire rate reduction/healing reduction on the enemy team super early while your team engages at a closer range
maybe lash as well? it's entirely dependent on whether you're confident you can keep a snowball going and you're okay with being useless until you get 10+ stacks

Basically don't use it as an initation tool on its own. Use your cage, slowing hex, other disables etc to initiate and get the drop on enemies. Only use the ultimate after the enemies have used their big ticket damage abilities, and always try to break line of sight before channelling; anyone with a stun or other disable will pick up on the super obvious visual/audio cue if you try to use it in the middle of a fight.

How to use Paige 3 most effectively? Seems like it's near impossible to get players with it. As soon as it gets down you just dash in literally any direction once and you're out. It takes just too long for it to activate for it to catch people. Maybe it would be too good if it were faster?

Decided to try Mina so that I won't be playing against her for once. While I was doing about as poorly as I expected, I was surprised that I wasn't doing the worst. why are there so many dishonest gay nigger moves on some characters? Bebop hook, Talon charged shot, Calico ultimate, etc. They suck the fun out of the game. It isn't interesting or fun to get nuked for 300+ damage by Grey Talon when they're as far away as possible. I roll my eyes getting hit by bebop hook knowing I'm about to get completely ass raped since it repositions you, locks you in place for a moment, disables you abilites to dodge/etc, guaranteed bomb + uppercut afterwards, and also guaranteed to get hit by more abilities/bullets from their teammates (if they're there).

It isn't challenging, fun, or interesting, it's just boring.

Bebop's hook is the most honest ability in the game.

He has ZERO way to guarantee it hits without a teammate, and it's useless if he uses items to do it because they're all too short ranged. He has to put 3 points into it for it to be an actual ability for humans. The longer range he fires it the more time you have to react when Valve could have been niggers and made the travel time flat regardless of distance or given it a faster travel speed. Even if he lands it only an easily-countered build actually gives him the means to 1v1 and kill you.

What isn't dishonest about Talon 1? Yeah it's a skillshot, but does that really matter? It's extremely easy to hit when used in close/mid and also has a very fast projectile speed so at long range it isn't that hard either. Extremely easy to build into for massive damage and is off cooldown nearly all of the time also well as extra charges. It does more burst damage than most moves in the game. You are forced to counter it through items which may be better spent on other items.

The best way to end the game early is to never push first. Always try to bait them into fighting over urn or mid-boss. Running into mid walker is usually when games get dragged out. That place is the easiest place to defend in the game. Even easier than the patron. Never ever ever fight there without a huge advantage. If you can kill them outside of their walkers the game will speed up immensely. Once all walkers are dead it's very easy to end the game.

Placed in the lowest rank and feel like im improving quite a lot after about 100 hours but it seems quite impossible to rank up unless you're hard stomping because every other game you have a leaver or some fresh boomer FPS lane partner

Is reload times global or are there differences? I imagine there are but they are subtle or small. Victor's gun feels like it takes longer than others and even feels like it has a charge up time, just without an indicator.

what are the basics of item building in this game
following public builds L-R doesn't really feel like it's cutting it but i'm not sure what's worth focusing on and what isn't at any given moment, the public builds are mostly just "here's the build" with little explanation on why it's good (which is more important if you're trying to learn)

It's really as >>538821978 says. You basically have to have a feel for the game flow and rhythm. It's not only whether it'll be worth it (getting +10 stacks within around 15 minutes) but also it needs to be worth delaying your items. There's a perfect timing to it where it won't hurt any momentum you have. Basically, I'll get it when there's a high amount of deathball brawls but there's a moderate to slow pace of the game. Even if it's constant, if people aren't constantly pushing then you can typically delay. If you're too far behind or at least one team is super aggressive then I would delay it. If you delay it until around 15-20 minutes then it's not really worth it.
It's similar to cultist since if you can get that by minute 8 and immediately kill a big creep then you're on pace to have great farm, but you need to know that you'll have the space and time to make use of it.
