He’s preaching to Jews who want to be found justified by the law. The purpose of the law is to convict them of their sins which is supposed to point them to Christ.
If you believe Jesus is preaching law here, you’re judaized. Please read the full book to find out that NO ONE save for God himself in the form of man was ever found justified by the law. Grace is not dispensational.
Citing the law when I’m not under it is a clear indication that you believe you’re justified by, keeping (you can’t) the law.
You are not God.
The Gospel is about what God did to save you if you so choose to believe it. Not about what man needs to do on a list of things to be morally perfect on his own efforts, thus completely negating the entire point of Christ.
The falling away, is people returning to the fucking law, or completely forgetting how they were justified to begin with and critically misunderstanding the basis for salvation has NOTHING to do with them.
