Portal design is how all classes should have been designed. Needing some kind of setup/quest which gives a powerspike but can only be used once (like gundam) or heavily tied to sevo and needing extra setup for max effectiveness (like noah + orchis or axia + 3 black eggs)
Rune would still be a good deck if they removed satan climb, Sword would be actually fair if they just cut all their storms from the game except maybe quickblader and kage because their damage spike would be sinciro + octrice for 12 and then they'd have to do their sinciro octrice quest again (just like portal has to assemble the gundam again if the first one didn't kill btw) etc etc etc
Obviously they have to nerf all the shitty healing as well if they did that. But those are just pretty dreams, september "balance patch" will change absolutely nothing, they'll probably buff cards nobody uses but because they won't nerf the broken shit those cards will stay unused, or worse, make the t1 decks stronger lol
