What's Paradox's role as a gun hero? Support damage and picks with swap? I had a game where I felt I did well but my hero damage was really low though I was involved in 50% of the kills.

Torment Pulse or Close Quarters on Victor?

I keep playing with a fren who plays decently well, but he keeps playing heroes he has no idea how to lane with and is almost always useless in lane, making it really not fun to play. Whenever he picks something like abrams I know it's gonna be miserable and by the end lane stats are usually me doing 6-8k damage and him barely reaching 2k. Still fun though I guess.

if you're the side that got tower first, you should always have at least one person stay anchored to your guardian to defend and have whoever is stronger at the moment go roam after they hit a powerspike. if you're the side that lost you can both kinda roam but you should still have someone be catching the waves because thats just the best farm on the map. if you're the person staying on the lane try and take enemy farm and just keep your lane pushed up, you're still helping the fights elsewhere on the map by pressuring your lane and forcing at least one of them to stay or risk losing walker. the worst thing you can do is stop pressuring lanes, because then the other team can just send 5 guys wherever they want and not lose anything for it and thats how most snowball games happen

Do other things if waves are pushed upto their towers steal their machine camps and boxes, go for a gank. You have alot of time until wave pushes back to you. Use it to do things on the map.

you should lose a 6v6 fight if you're behind it shouldn't be another comeback mechanic. 3 revives and the rejuv buff is not THAT big of a reward compared to the risk it's not an autowin. If you make it riskier and harder to take the only thing it does it draw out games which can already go on for 35+ minutes.

I never really got to fight him 1v1 outside of lane, and even there it's not a 1v1. They enemy team was deathballing hard after laning. But at least I got one of their walkers and even almost killed Shiv who came alone to defend it.

There are 3 lanes on the map where basically harmless to players NPCs walk down, with 3 basically super tanky but less damaging sentries holding checkpoints along this lane. For the first 10~ minutes you're stationed 2v2 on this lane keeping the tug of war at a balanced level, then usually you rotate but still try and defend your towers. The lanes take about 10-20 seconds to move between which is a fair amount. The real important thing aside from killing enemies/base is to earn currency, which gives you items and skill points. Value: high, pro: deals a set amount of damage to you always, gives you additional stat buffs when you break it, con: extremely loud and reveals your position, you drop the money
>Boxes
Value: low-medium depending on quantity. Scattered everywhere, pick these up when moving around or between creep waves (for double dipping). Con: drops on death
>Towers
Value: very high, pro: unlocks additional item slots, required to win game, increases your map control, con: enemies will defend these
>Players
Value: high, pro: people die if they are killed, con: easy to get trapped in endless brawls so you won't earn more reliable money from the previous sources
The creeps slots and boxes are scattered everywhere between and close to the lanes, the game is basically about farming, maintaining lane control and killing people at every viable opportunity. Games are 25-45 minutes. If someone is fed/farmed it means they've had free reign killing your team or farming unpunished, if a player has 50% more souls than you they're incredibly strong.

The small details of the game dont matter too much, just think about how your movements on the map are helping you win the game and you will be ahead of your peers at ALL ranks. Predict what enemies want to do too and you'll be top rank assuming passable mechanical skill.

Mid boss is THE most important part of the game so at about 20 minutes+ start thinking about taking it any time the enemy team cant fight you.

I miss when it gave +20% weapon damage. Still one of the best items in the game. The amount of heroes you can cuck out of their abilities and combos is insane. You can tp over McGinnis wall, tp out of Lash's ult and stomp, tp out of Paradox's timestop which will 100% cause her to miss her combo, tp out of Mina ult, tp out of the Baroness always in time before the extra damage, tp out of Fern and Abrams ult, the list goes on. I buy it on every hero and it's saved me countless times
