They should just axe the class-specific gun bonuses since no one cares about them anyway. It just makes LMGs and bolties even more useless. Most of the LMGs even with the ADS and recoil bonus are still shittier than just using a carbine or SMG on Support.
They should have just made a true, final decision on open/closed weapons instead of this frankenstein shit that fucks up your loadouts and essentially makes the good guns better and the worse guns worse.

The ADS bonus is the worst thing. They're all balanced around having it active, so if you use them on another class you get a penalty for no reason. It's especially bad on the magazine LMGs where for support they're basically just assault rifles, and for everyone else they're assault rifles with worse ADS so they're worthless.

Yeah it just does not feel good to look at the M60 I've been using for the past 20 hours, see that it's at rank 30, and realize that it'll take almost as long to max it out... and that I would need to then invest ~40 more hours into that tedium if I wanted to use a different gun. Once I started only playing against bots I began enjoying the game. I don't actually care for a competitive shooters anymore, but I do like the gunplay. The bot games remind me of playing Star Wars Battlefront on PS2.

Well i'm out..i'm just too old for this fast-paced shooter. My honest short opinion

I played since BF2. BF used to be my favorite fps,it was always something in the middle of COD and Squad/Hell Let lose. I loved the sandbox feel of it without having to walk for 10 min to find enemies.

But this is just too much. Every match is basically meat-grinder ,I feel like Jason Statham in "Crank" the entire time. The pace of Battlefield is one if its main appeals to me. I enjoy picking a map based on what I want to do in the game. If I want fast, frenetic, close-in fights I'll pick a smaller map with lots of indoor combat. If I want slower-paced more strategic gameplay, I'll pick a huge map with loads of open space.

BF6 is just a run-and-gun, no brains spray-and-pray fight constantly and constantly in the line of sight of someone.. I never feel like I'm making any headway in securing an area. Every waking moment of play, I'm completely expecting that I'm going to get shot from and direction that isn't the one I'm looking, which is exactly how most deaths happen. The game doesn't feel like the capture points really matter at all.

Its a great game overall,but i guess im not enjoying fast paced run&gun shooters anymore. Too bad there's nothing similar to Battlefield

I don't use the attachments with the best stats or any character skins. I only use the standard issue equipment attachments for the weapon in military service, and the OCP or M81 Woodland camouflage.

They both brought something to the table. In 6 support has healing and ammo and defibs and also the best gun and assault has... a ladder? That’s definitely a (you) issue. I main assault and the deploy beacon alone is op with proper placement. The ladder is also great on certain maps/points like new sobek where you can get on the roofs and control the game. Then again I play breakthrough exclusively so maybe it’s a game mode issue.

Play breakthrough and use it before you turn the corner on a site. You should be able to respawn at your deploy beacon and repeat. I agree that the stim is useless. I’d gladly trade the explosion resistance for increased ads speed and control/precision if they really don’t want it to heal.

I love using the 50 round starter belt, but the days are lazy pieces of shit. The amount of rounds left on the belt don't line up to your actual ammo count. You can have two or three rounds left and still see like 6 or 7 rounds left on the belt.

It doesn't ruin the game or gun for me, but it's extremely disappointing to see in 2025 in a game with so much attention to detail in other areas. Especially when Helldivers 2 got this right last year on a much shittier engine.
