LL's low damage isn't really made up for by the shotguns and the lessened knockback from the weaker explosions make it a bad combo weapon. IMO it's best used like you said as a noncommittal Trolldier with the Gunboats who can fall back on regular Soldier feet clicking when things go south. It also apparently can be pretty decent with a Kritz pocket or Buff Banner letting you fire off 5 mini-crockets. I honestly just prefer using the Rocket Jumper with a shotgun over the LL most of the time.

There's only one to two active servers per map, which is why so many people are complaining about queue times, the queues aren't bugged or broken people are soft-locking themselves by leaving the servers as you can't rejoin that server once you do leave and that's the big problem right now

Servers are reallocated based on what is being queued for. You see the same individuals because the queue needs a match on ping (region), map, and MMR range. For maps you wouldn't queue for other than for the contract, that naturally leads to a small player pool. Criticism of valve is obviously fine, the problem with zesty is that he is hysterical and incapable of dialogue. It doesn't help that the ostensibly pro-valve community figures wouldn't talk to him even if he were open to it, but that doesn't make his theatrics 'right.'

When new maps break on day 1 is it Valve or the mapmakers that have to fix the issues? Seems unfair if it's the mapmakers since they can't predict how casual will fuck up their map, with the tools they're given and through playtesting their map could be fine and then become unplayable overnight because however valve handles maps always breaks them

Casual only Interfaces the game client's API. There is nothing that map makers wouldn't be able to discover in testing, but not catching everything that you would with a full community playtest is expected.

Seems like mappers could extensively playtest their maps and everything could be fine, but when Valve handles them for casual something usually always goes wrong. Mappers don't have access to casual's build so they can't predict what will go wrong, but instead they're forced to fix the issues they couldn't predict
