Everyone I end up liking from this thread ends up being a tourist who leaves when they get weirded out or make the "right" friends and it makes me unreasonably upset that I can't quit this place and make friends like they do.

It needs very little for that to be honest, as a Solo Deep Dungeon enthusiast, the problem with PT, and EO from a solo standpoint (aside the issues brought up in the thread about enemy hp and the like) is the fact that they got rid of mobs being able to crit you with their autoattacks, both POTD and HOH solo at later sets become a game of "can I get away with pulling this mob?" each mob felt different, sometimes you would get one killed no problem, other times you would get double autoattack with a crit on both and get deleted ( https://youtube.com/shorts/42V3Qzk7d-s?si=K_RfN-qcWxTn5-Bb )

That alone made player skill bigger, since you had to play a balancing game between killing mobs to advance to the next floor, keeping your time healthy for the boss (in HoH and PotD you may finish a set with less than a minute left) and Pom usage, which becomes extremely important and almost a necessity in the first two DD's, while in EO and PT are a commodity.

If PT mobs were able to crit randomly, I could guarantee it would be a much more challenging and fun Deep Dungeon to Solo
