The entire content formula of FFXIV is just simply garbage.
I don't want to memorize a 10 minute dance routine, I want to react to situations happening spontaneously.
The whole fun in MMO bosses is having to patch up things that go wrong with on the fly thinking and using the tools of your class in creative ways, rebalancing the raid on the fly to respond to situations arising due to unexpected circumstances.
Knowing where to stand and when is just not fun for most people.

that used to be alliance raids but they fucked it up by adding chaotic so not alliance raids are just scaled back chaotic which is the "real" content
I don't want them to take savage and rip out mechanics to give me slop I want them to make something specifically for casual players to enjoy

I don't see why that's so hard. Casuals outnumber hardcore players 1000 to 1 in the game and pay a lot more in sub fees so having no content catered to them is strange and the biggest issue in the game right now.
